Romano Ricci, the self-described offbeat dandy of the perfume world, only used one element—Cetalox—to create this minimalist perfume. Even if you've never heard of it, you've undoubtedly picked up its scent. Used as a back note in thousands of fragrances, Cetalox (a synthetic substitute for grey amber) takes center stage in Not a Perfume. The result is elegant, pure, spicy, and completely allergen-free.
Nice perfume, just not for me, the scent sticks around, just too much floral smell4
I'm not a big perfume wearer; I tend to stick with one scent. However, the reaction to this perfume will definitely make me reconsider only wearing one scent. It was a hit with everyone I came into contact with and I really liked the scent. It was strong without being overpowering.5
I'm super picky about fragrances and feel that most of the ones on the market now are overly sweet. Therefore I tend to wear men's cologne instead. This perfume was an incredible mix of subtle and powerful. I would wear it everyday, except for the fact that my work environment is not conducive to fragrance! Bummer.5
I am probably too narrow minded when it comes to perfume but this didn't wow me over.. I'll use the sample but won't be buying it.4
I loved the scent but at $120, I have been priced out.5
Refreshing smell and uplifting. Good sample tester3
I liked the scent but I would not purchase due to the high price. I have others I like for less money.3
I love the product and packaging just not the price. Probably won't purchase but we will see if I miss the smell when the sample runs out.4
Loved this product! It smelled fantastic! I will def purchase in the future.5
I'm still on the fence as to whether I love the scent, but I will say that I appreciated the fact that it was not cloying. I agree with some previous reviewers that it's a relatively neutral scent so both men and women would be able to pull it off. It is very expensive though, so definitely get yourself a sample to be sure!4
