Romano Ricci, the self-described offbeat dandy of the perfume world, only used one element—Cetalox—to create this minimalist perfume. Even if you've never heard of it, you've undoubtedly picked up its scent. Used as a back note in thousands of fragrances, Cetalox (a synthetic substitute for grey amber) takes center stage in Not a Perfume. The result is elegant, pure, spicy, and completely allergen-free.
Very strange name, the smell was nice but a little masculine.3
I was not that impressed. I understand the base note is what stays but the bouquet is usually what is most appreciated. I'll keep it in case of an odor emergency but I certainly wouldn't purchase it2
It smells SO good. Really, no words. Strangers were commenting on how good I smelled, which was a little weird, but they were right...I smelled amazing. It's a little spicy which I loved. At first its a little strong, but by the time you walk out of the house, its just right.5
The scent of this was a bit too strong for me. Definitely was effective though, it lasted all day, even after a run.3
I like the appeal of this perfume, it's a nice smell, but I wouldn't purchase for pure fact there are much better perfumes out there.4
I LOVE this scent!!! Love!!! I recently bought another product from Birchbox that I ended up not being so happy with because it has no staying power... but this lasts all day. It smells incredible and I absolutely love it. I'm literally considering getting rid of all of my other fragrances.5
Simple and clean, yet sophisticated. I like this subtle , feminine scent.4
Really didn't like the scent. I usually like earthier scents, but this one didn't suit me. It does stick around for a while, so if someone were to like wearing this scent this could be a positive.2
I love this scent, I will definitely buy this product. Only thing that does not appeal to me is the price.5
Much to my own surprise, I fell in love with this fragrance. I usually cringe when I get a fragrance in my monthly BirchBox as I'm not one to run out and buy a new perfume often. However, I was willing to do that with this one until I found out the price. It is just out of the question for $120, but what a beautiful fragrance it is!5
