COOLA’s mineral sunblock is everything we want in a daily SPF. The updated, eco-friendly formula is made with 70 percent organic ingredients and protects from both the UVA rays that lead to premature aging and the UVB rays that cause painful burns. Great for all skin types—especially those with breakout-prone and hyper-sensitive complexions—the transparent cream dries to a flattering matte finish, doubles as a primer, and won't leave behind a chalky white residue. The refreshing cucumber scent gives us yet another reason to love it.
I love the other products in their line, but this one just wasn't for me. The texture was to oily feeling for me.1
This product really didn't do anything for me. I didn't like the smell or the way it felt on my face.1
I didn't appreciate getting this in my birch box because i always receive sunscreen. Also this does not help me in Michigan where i live because the sun is no longer an issue being that its about sixty degrees. I am sure people in other regions enjoy this though.1
I was not a fan of this product at all. I had such high hopes! It left me with a very chalky, dry finish - not the kind of nice, oil-free matte I was going for. The skin tone was all wrong too: It's definitely not a one-size-fits-all color.1
I received the Coola tinted spf Matte finish. It left my dry skin
parched after only 2 hours of wear.
Oily definitely, combination possibly could benefit from the
excellent mattifier contained in the Coola.
The tint seems to be merely coloring to avoid the white face
look of some spf's.
I always buy foundation that has SPF in the formula so I don't find it necessary to have a base with SPF as well.1
Okay so i like the sample it was pretty small thought but it smells really good. Ive been wanting to buy a sunscreen for my face but can never find one that is good with my type of skin, and this one seems to be perfect. The only issue that i have here with this that, the description above says it has instant effects, but if thats so, then why do i have to apply it an hour before stepping outside? Thats what the description on the birchbox card said. So im really confused, and if indeed i have to wait an hour to step outside then its totally not worth my money =(
I just hope the description in the card was wrong.
I can't get past the scent. I put some of this on the backs of my hands before I even thought of applying to my face. Good thing I did. The heavily perfumed scent gave me a headache. I don't know why a product like this would want to be heavily perfumed- especially one that claims to be organic. This was very disappointing to me. I can't recommend this one to anyone.1
I don't have overly oily skin, but when applied over my regular morning skin regimen, this made me so shiny and slick I had to set everything twice with powder just to keep from smearing. Which stinks, because between the smell and the organic ingredients, I really wanted to like this product.1
Although this sunscreen smells great and goes on smoothly it just does not work. Having applied correctly and at least 30 minutes before sun exposure I have burned twice now and have only sampled it two times. Today I was only in the sun for an hour. Be careful (buyer beware) with this product I now have read other reviews of being sunburned while using this product.1
