Slathering on sunscreen can seem more like a chore than a proper primping ritual, but COOLA's standout facial tint has us (gasp) actually looking forward to applying SPF. Made with 70 percent organic ingredients, including plenty of free radical–fighting antioxidants, the silky, nongreasy formula dries down to a matte finish (and does so without an overpowering scent!). Two skin-safe mineral sunblocks—titanium and zinc dioxide—are suspended in a moisturizing base to ensure a smooth, even application, and the subtle beige tint evens out skin tone and masks flaws. Shea butter naturally softens skin. Works best for light to medium complexions.
Great another tinted product that is far too dark for my pale skin. Don't these companies realize they're drastically slashing the number of people who can purchase their product when they assume everyone is the same color.1
I use cerave because it's the only noncomedogenic product for dry, sensitive and acne prone skin that actually works. I will not purchase any moisturizer that does not perform as good as cerave.1
I really wanted to like this stuff but it sunk into my pores and almost highlighted them? It was very strange. My pores were filled a lighter tone and the surrounding skin only appeared dry. I'm fair skin with combination skin and average pores. Just wasn't for me.1
This product felt very heavy on my skin. By the end of the day my skin also felt very oily. I did, however, like how it minimized the appearance of pores and any blemishes.1
The sample I received was an empty tube, but still sealed, so I couldn't try it. I've tried it before though, and it made my face too greasy. I've noticed that with a lot of SPF products.1
Packing everything in a small carryon is my new travel goal, and this product got my face safely through a long weekend at the beach. it looks nice and works well, didn't have to be washed off before going out, just a quick touch up with a mineral sunscreen and makeup and I was set to go! I will purchase this for my permanent "go bag"!1
I'm just discouraged how many sunscreens we get. SPF products are hard on my skin and it seems like we get tons of these. I live in Portland! Rains all the time!1
I may be biased here as I am not a fan of matte products, but I found this product to be way too chalky! It felt weird on my face (and hands) after use.1
I tried the sample and I liked it, but upon getting the full sized item, I found the product to be runny and smell funny. It also left me with a very bad looking shade of yellow on my skin.1
I would give zero stars if I could. I applied a liberal amount of this sunscreen early last week before going outside in a mix of shade and sunscreen. I looked like a raccoon because my nose and under my sunglasses burnt so bad. I try very hard to make sure I do not burn or have too much sun on my face so this was very upsetting to me, not to mention I had a facial scheduled within days of this sunburn. I've already thrown this in the trash and warned my friends who use Birchbox to do the same.1
