Slathering on sunscreen can seem more like a chore than a proper primping ritual, but COOLA's standout facial tint has us (gasp) actually looking forward to applying SPF. Made with 70 percent organic ingredients, including plenty of free radical–fighting antioxidants, the silky, nongreasy formula dries down to a matte finish (and does so without an overpowering scent!). Two skin-safe mineral sunblocks—titanium and zinc dioxide—are suspended in a moisturizing base to ensure a smooth, even application, and the subtle beige tint evens out skin tone and masks flaws. Shea butter naturally softens skin. Works best for light to medium complexions.
I have tried and tried and tried and I just DO NOT like Coola products. If I could, I would stop Birchbox from ever sending me one again...I have gotten so many over the last year or so that its kind of sickening. PLEASE BIRCHBOX, STOP SENDING ME COOLA PRODUCTS. YUCK!1
I didn't like the way this feels on my skin. It felt too dry and not something I'd use. This product does not have enough coverage for me.1
I tried it on two different occasions. I moisturized my face with my face lotion like I usually do and gave the lotion a few minutes to fully absorb. The first time I used it, I tried it without a primer and it didn't do anything, but make my skin look drier. It was awful. The second time I used it I used a primer and it was still really dry and flaky. If you have dry or sensitive skin this is not for you!1
I've never owned a tinted moisturizer so my issues could very well be user error. it dried my skin really bad. you could see all my flakes. it's just not for me.1
I'm allergic to foundation so I can't try this product but I did give it to a friend who liked it1
The tint was too dark for my skin color. I am a huge fan of the un-tinted sunscreen by this brand.1
I like the idea of this product, but for someone with fair skin I would recommend you don't waste your money.1
I'm confused by this product. Is it a tinted BB creme with SPF? The consistency was super greasy--when I squeezed it out of the tube, yellow oil came out, so I shook it and then squeezed but that didn't help either. It had a weird beige colouring to it which I think is the "tint" but it didn't appear to have any tint when applied to my skin. It has this strange liquid silicon-y feeling to it, like applying a layer of it to my skin... and it was matte. It's a strange and uncomfortable finish that I had to wipe it off. It provided no coverage, so I'm unsure if this is truly a BB creme.1
I was very excited to try this product. Unfortunately it made my skin super oily and greasy. I tried it in the morning and at night both with clean skin and it just did not work for me.1
Horrible! Hated it! I hate sunscreens in my box and a matte sunscreen gave me acne! Awesome!1
