Slathering on sunscreen can seem more like a chore than a proper primping ritual, but COOLA's standout facial tint has us (gasp) actually looking forward to applying SPF. Made with 70 percent organic ingredients, including plenty of free radical–fighting antioxidants, the silky, nongreasy formula dries down to a matte finish (and does so without an overpowering scent!).
I don't think this product did as much as I was expecting. It didn't cover much and the matte wasn't as substantial and noticeable as I wanted. Didn't love, not my favorite, but not awful3
I have been searching for a non-shiny, non-greasy, but still powerful sunscreen for months. I have finally found the one product that combines everything I've been looking for. Zinc oxide and titanium dioxide - both of which my dermatologist told me I need in every product I use. And this is important, because I have had skin cancer and I never want to get it again. Big surprise there. The Hong that sets this apart from other pro-strength products is the matte and the tint. No shine, no sparkle. None. The tint is a hint - just enough to blur imperfections without changing the color of my skin. It's surprisingly flexible, as a result. And it's a primer. So I go from using 4 products (spf + primer + foundation + powder to fight shine) o just 1 powerhouse product. I do still need to add a wee bit of anti-aging product before I put this on for wrinkle fighting and moisture. I received this in my birchbox and would now buy it by the vat if I could.5
The product looked chunky on my face but if I got the right color it might be better3
I put this on when I am in a hurry and do not feel like wearing makeup. I love the way all coola products feel. It feels almost like silicone based. The tint is not too pigmented, and will match most skin types.4
I liked the fact that it was matte. anything matte is always great!
Very little coverage which is good for people who don't like too much coverage4
I liked this but don't love it. It has pros and cons. The pros are that it's wonderfully silky and matte, and I love the SPF of it. The cons are that the color looks too yellowy-orange on my skin (I'm frightfully pale), there's no coverage even with the tint (I'd like to see at least an evening of skin tone, i don't expect it to cover freckles or anything), and the silicone sits on your face so when you sweat or get oily (I'm extremely oily skinned) it runs and streaks.3
Haven't tried this product yet, but it looks great.5
Sooo I don't even know what to put on the description. I liked it but my biggest issue is finding something great for my oily skin :(4
I'm a big fan of coola products. I love the smell and they always do exactly what they say they will.5
