Slathering on sunscreen can seem more like a chore than a proper primping ritual, but COOLA's standout facial tint has us (gasp) actually looking forward to applying SPF. Made with 70 percent organic ingredients, including plenty of free radical–fighting antioxidants, the silky, nongreasy formula dries down to a matte finish (and does so without an overpowering scent!). Two skin-safe mineral sunblocks—titanium and zinc dioxide—are suspended in a moisturizing base to ensure a smooth, even application, and the subtle beige tint evens out skin tone and masks flaws. Shea butter naturally softens skin. Works best for light to medium complexions.
I have very oily skin, so finding a sunscreen that won't make me instantly greasy is a momentous task. This product not only gave me the matte texture I need, but also protected my skin while I was outside for 8-12 hours in the middle of the day. I couldn't ask for more in a sunscreen.5
I like the COOLA® Face SPF 30 Unscented Matte Tint. I love that it dries matte. It hasn't broken me out so that's a good sign4
I was impressed with the quality of this item. I usually stay away from tinted moisturizer because I am so fair and freckled but this product worked nicely and felt great on my skin.4
This product gives me a light coverage and feels very light on. And the bonus I don't even realize I'm putting on SPF and protecting the skin on my face even more than I think.5
Does the job of a sunscreen and more. It definitely leaves your skin feeling and looking matte. It's very light and doesn't have the overwhelming sunscreen smell. I wish it had a bit more color.4
The tint did nothing for me, didn't cover anything and I was an oil slick by the end of the day.2
This is really smooth and great for my skin! I have oily skin and this helped combat it really nicely!5
I was excited to get this product in my box. I have tried it and I expected more of the product. I did not notice much of a tint when I put it on my face.4
I don't generally sunburn, so SPF is more of a prophylaxis to prevent photoaging for me, and to that end this product feels like its working. However, I could never just wear this alone as the coverage is just too wimpy. And why bother buying something just to use for its SPF when there are other products that combine way more skincare benefits as well as SPF and stronger coverage? This is probably only good for people who already have great skin but just need to get in the habit of putting on SPF every morning.3
I really haven't found anything that makes my skin look as good as it does when I use this stuff continuously. If there were a cheaper alternative I would find it.5
