Slathering on sunscreen can seem more like a chore than a proper primping ritual, but COOLA's standout facial tint has us (gasp) actually looking forward to applying SPF. Made with 70 percent organic ingredients, including plenty of free radical–fighting antioxidants, the silky, nongreasy formula dries down to a matte finish (and does so without an overpowering scent!).
Smells decent and perfect amount of tint with spf good for fair skin4
It was nice to use to be fair! But it wasn't very memorable - there were plenty of things I liked about it though. I applied the product with my fingers and it felt fairly greasy on my hands. On my face it felt better though, which sounds backwards, but it felt like how a primer should on my face at least! And the finish was nice. BUT I don't think it worked too too well for a primer, I've used better ones. I liked that it had good ingredients in it and when I wore it, it was one of the few primers that didn't feel like it was clogging my pores. And the fact that it had sunscreen was GREAT cause I'm always looking for products with sunscreen, and as far as I know for my skin, there was no flashback nor did it make me look sickly. However, I do have fairly pale skin so maybe the flashback/sickly tone that sunscreen usually causes will show up on darker skin tones, which I know is usually harder for darker skin tones and I don't know if just because it doesn't show up on mine means that it won't for others.
Also, I know that it's considered tinted but it doesn't look like ANY kind of tone on my face, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing for me nor was it disappointing but it doesn't really...have any tint so I don't know why it would say that. When it comes out of the tube it definitely looks tinted (which worried me at first because it looked a little too dark for me) but when it's put on it doesn't look like anything. Maybe the tint helps to combat the flashback of the sunscreen? I don't know.
It was really nice to not have any overpowering scent in my opinion too!! I hate perfume-y products because it's telling me that usually means there's alcohol/perfume in the product and that isn't good for your skin.
ANYWAY tldr - it's nice but I wouldn't pay for it again and there are better priming products in the market that have makeup stay a lot better. However, it is well mattifying, has SPF, no flashback/sickly tones (as far as I know on pale skin), isn't greasy, and as far as I know, it has pretty good ingredients.
Love this! Light and easy to apply. Its a hint of color - just a hint. I will definitely use this in the summer months. I had never heard of this company before. Thanks!5
Love how this feels, how it protects and how it looks5
The texture feels kind of like a primer and there isn't much tint at all. It does feel less greasy than most sunscreens, which is nice.3
Love. Goes on smooth and has minimal coverage with a matte finish5
I sometimes hoard my samples and don't use them, but I brought this along on a vacation and now have to buy it!5
My skin is very fair, and I have to be very careful about protecting it. This product is a sunscreen that doesn't feel like a sunscreen. The texture of this product on your skin is incredible! It is so velvety and doesn't leave any tackiness.5
Love the feel of this sunscreen. A must have in my beachbag and purse.5
Feels great going on, nice texture. Lasts and really treated my skin well. I am not normally a fan of a heavier sunscreen on my face but this product won me over. Non-greasy and it stayed put without being heavy.5
