You wouldn’t know it from the state of our makeup drawer, but we’re actually beauty minimalists. Our motto: Why use two products when you can get the same effect with one? This two-in-one lip and cheek stain gives us a natural, understated flush and helps us get out the door faster. The gel formula looks dark in the tube but delivers a sheer tint. The tinted gel leaves a lasting stain on lips and cheeks. Since it’s water-based, it has a longer setting time than most quick-dry stains, which means it won’t leave any unsightly streaks behind as long as you take care to blend well. Use a single coat for a subtle look or layer it on for a more visible (yet still discreet) hue.
I really didn't like the color this left on my lips. Too pink and weird looking. I definitely would not purchase this product.1
Make me look like I had just had a couple of red Popsicles1
Maybe it's because I'm not afraid of a bold red lip, but this did nothing for me. It was sticky and barely showed at all. Again, I prefer lipstick to lip gloss anyway, I just didn't like this at all.1
I am a lip gloss girl but this gel formula doesn't do it for me. Did't really think there was much color to the gel at all and the product didn't last long.1
This stain has a weird jelly consistency and when I put it on my lips it dried them out. Plus, after about an hour it rubbed into weird beads on my lips (didn't stain evenly).
I should say I really love (most) Balm products. Just not this one.
I am really not into these stains. I didn't like the color and didn't feel it worked well. I think it might have been better in a lighter shade.1
I totally thought I was going to love this but it was SO tricky to apply. Every time I used it I had to work so hard to get it to not look streaky.1
When I first got this product I was excited to try it. But when I put it on directly, the three dots would not go away, THEY STAINED MY FACE. And the three pink dot were there till the rest of the day. I threw it away after that1
The name of the product, " Stainiac", describes the product as a "stain" for the lips and/or cheeks. It did not last AT ALL on my lips. I use powders on my face so I would never use this product on my cheeks.1
This item works fine on lips, but the consistency, texture and color do not seem quite right as a blusher/cheek stain. It is a very bright reddish pink and somewhat tricky to blend in on cheeks. I like the idea of a two-in-one item, but this does not quite fit the bills.1
