You wouldn’t know it from the state of our makeup drawer, but we’re actually beauty minimalists. Our motto: Why use two products when you can get the same effect with one? This two-in-one lip and cheek stain gives us a natural, understated flush and helps us get out the door faster. The gel formula looks dark in the tube but delivers a sheer tint. The tinted gel leaves a lasting stain on lips and cheeks. Since it’s water-based, it has a longer setting time than most quick-dry stains, which means it won’t leave any unsightly streaks behind as long as you take care to blend well. Use a single coat for a subtle look or layer it on for a more visible (yet still discreet) hue.
I don't typically shy away from lip gloss and never used a lip stainer before this product. That being said, I absolutely LOVED this! It lasts for hours and the color is subtle but noticeable. It's lighter than lipstick so it's easy to apply and doesn't get on your teeth. Love!5
I love this stuff. I just quickly swipe it on my cheeks and lips for a perfect no-makeup makeup look. The color appears bright, but softens up a lot once applied. I think this color would be flattering on a variety of skin tones.5
Did not really see the point in this product. Claims it can be used on cheeks? Not quite sure how. Seemed clumpy on lips.2
This lip tint did not work well for me at all. One coat barely showed up as any color on my lips and the more layers I added, the stickier it felt. I literally put 5 coats of this on and still didn't have a lot of color showing up. I wanted to like it but it just didn't work for me.2
Feels great, doesn't dry out your lips. Also you can apply as little as you want or as much as you want, and it creates different shades of red stain. It looks great with lip gloss over it.5
This stain provides a nice flush to the cheeks and lips and is a great price point. The only thing I find weird is the wand goes both on your lips and face, so I'm not sure how sanitary it is.4
One of my faves. Leaves a natural stain on your lips.5
I like this as a light alternative to lipstick. If you load it on, it gets slightly sticky, but otherwise it's great, and lasts for half of the day.3
I bought this over a year ago. I love that it's small, as I love to have a blush in my make up bag for on the go application. You need clean fingers for extremely quick blending, as it sets on the cheeks very quickly. It looks natural if you blend it correctly, and it does have staying power. You can also keep layering the color on to add intensity. I didn't like it for my lips, I only used it as a blush. I have another blush stick in my on the go bag now, one that is a bit more forgiving in the setting time.2
I can't speak on using it on my cheeks, but it this is the best lip stain I've used so far. The color initially goes on kind of light but you can layer it to make it darker and it doesn't get sticky.5
