You wouldn’t know it from the state of our makeup drawer, but we’re actually beauty minimalists. Why use two products when you can get the same effect with one? This two-in-one lip and cheek stain gives us a natural, understated flush and helps us get out the door faster. The gel formula looks dark in the tube but delivers a sheer, lasting tint on lips and cheeks. It has a longer setting time than most quick-dry stains, so it won’t leave unsightly streaks after you blend.
I only tried this on my lips, and I gave it two tries, but it is just too gooey sticky.1
Good color, lasted awhile. Liked the product overall.3
This is a great product and lasts all day! I'll put it on in the mornings when i put my makeup on and it truly stains your lips for the rest of the day! Even after I put chapstick on it stays on and gives my lips the perfect amount of color with it not looking too red.5
I received Stainiac as a sample and it does not disappoint! The barely-there shade of pink goes with every color palette I choose and stays on all day, even with frequent lip balm applications.5
My natural lip color is very nice, so I don't wear stain or lipstick often. My lips also tend to be on the dry side, which causes creasing and caking. I liked this because it added just a bit of brightness and I could still use my chapstick without it rubbing off.4
For those that want a light natural stain then you'll like this. I wanted something with a little more pop, and this didn't offer that even after several layers. Other than that it's not a bad size, and the product taste fine, doesn't seem to have a smell. It does work, and doesn't get on your teeth, but it's really light.3
I have always enjoyed this brand and this lip color did not disappoint. It had a great color but wasn't too overpowering. Just the right stain for a day out and about.5
I really liked that this was a lip stain, different from a gloss or a lipstick. The color was mild enough that it works with any skin/lip type.3
So when I first tried this I hated it because absolutely no color showed up on my skin, and I have very pale skin so that's saying something. A couple of weeks later, I let it dry and then put two more layers over my initial coat, and it looked great. Very light, natural shade of pink and it's not sticky at all.4
I applied this lip stain a few times, but I had a few problems:
1. It seemed pretty thin and I needed to do several coats
2. It seemed like the formula had separated, so I sometimes had darker "chunks" that I had to blend in.
