You wouldn’t know it from the state of our makeup drawer, but we’re actually beauty minimalists. Our motto: Why use two products when you can get the same effect with one? This two-in-one lip and cheek stain gives us a natural, understated flush and helps us get out the door faster. The gel formula looks dark in the tube but delivers a sheer tint. The tinted gel leaves a lasting stain on lips and cheeks. Since it’s water-based, it has a longer setting time than most quick-dry stains, which means it won’t leave any unsightly streaks behind as long as you take care to blend well. Use a single coat for a subtle look or layer it on for a more visible (yet still discreet) hue.
This product is a great light natural stain with build able depth of color. i love the color on me and its staying power. it does, however, need to be warn with a lip gloss or moisturizer or some kind as it does not provide any moisture on its own.4
It was completely sheer when I first applied it but once you build up the color it's actually really nice. You have to keep in mind that it says it's a "hint of tint", I like it!5
It's a good lip product but I have really oily skin and stay clear of any liquid blushes.4
Best thing about this stain is that it doesn't result in dry/gross looking lips! It is one of the few products I have found that has been able to achieve that.4
I have never tried a product like this before and I did not really love it.3
This stain is so dewy and cheerful. All I can think of is happy. I really like this stain, it gives you a nice cheerful glow. Feels good on the lips too, it is not drying.5
I liked this lipstain. I was a little concerned it would be too dark, but it applied beautifully and you can layer the color. The only negative is that it is not moisturizing at all. My lips felt really dry even after adding separate balm.4
Feels gel-like. Somewhat alcohol-feeling in the application, probably due to the triethanolamine ingredient, which is a restricted ingredient in cosmetics (below a certain percentage, especially for cosmetics that are left on and possibly absorbed). I like the color. While it's not necessarily drying, it's not at all moisturizing. Definitely need a gloss or chapstick on top. Felt odd/kind of drying as a cheek stain. I wouldn't buy mainly because it's dry to me and because of the ingredient that I don't want to continuously absorb and ingest if I happen to like my lips. I'm sure it meets regulations of percentage of ingredient in the product, but it's an odd, odd thing to put in lip cosmetics.3
really effective as a stain. I liked that it didn't have a built-in gloss or moisturizer so that the color stayed on longer (you can layer it with a gloss or balm and the color stays put.) However, the magenta color really wasn't for me.4
Great product actually stays on lips just the right amount of color. Like the way it goes on. Even worked on cheeks and stayed on5
