Romano Ricci, the self-described offbeat dandy of the perfume world, only used one element—Cetalox—to create this minimalist perfume. Even if you've never heard of it, you've undoubtedly picked up its scent. Used as a back note in thousands of fragrances, Cetalox (a synthetic substitute for grey amber) takes center stage in Not a Perfume. The result is elegant, pure, spicy, and completely allergen-free.
The smell is fresh and clean. it’s powdery, and flowery, and musky, and strong. It is both for women and men.
This perfume smells great! I really love it. I got this in my April Birch Box and the only thing that disappoints me is the size of the sample. Theres a very good chance I'll buy the full size for myself.5
This is a great for the workplace! It is very light but yet also very feminine.
I got lots of compliments when I wore this but it wore off way too quickly for my preference.4
I love the smell of this perfume nice settle smell5
Because this perfume is based on one widely used fragrance note, it smells extremwly familiar, but not unique. For the pricetag I want something more complex. I can't justify buying it when it smells like many other fragrances. However, the more I wear it, the more it grows on me. It's a 50/50.3
I've never had a scent like this before. It's perfect for spring and summer - light, clean and simple. I'm also a sucker for a clever name!5
This perfume has a very nice, sensual fragrance to it, which I love. Maybe not appropriate for the office, but perfect for a date night! :)5
Well I have difficulties with literally any smell right now due to pregnancy, but this one is a win! It's very light and tender, sweet and deep, and most important: it's not annoying my morning sickness, moreover, it seems to make it disappear. I will be using it a lot. Absolute love.5
I've seen all the positive feedback on this and was excited to try it, but I thought the smell was horrible just not for me3
