Romano Ricci, the self-described offbeat dandy of the perfume world, only used one element—Cetalox—to create this minimalist perfume. Even if you've never heard of it, you've undoubtedly picked up its scent. Used as a back note in thousands of fragrances, Cetalox (a synthetic substitute for grey amber) takes center stage in Not a Perfume. The result is elegant, pure, spicy, and completely allergen-free.
I don't know what it is about this smell but I really really like it. It's not strong as some perfume and is very subtle and blends well.
Certainly, fragrances are so individual and it's hard to recommend but I would recommend this.
This product is very lovely and is very long lasting. Even though the size can use some lifting it is worth the amount. The name was very odd but the scent made up for it5
It has great potential for the right person. A little too much for me.3
I was very confused with the name of the product, but it actually smells really clean and fresh.4
I didn't like the smell personally. It wasn't for me but it's decent1
For something that is marketed as not a perfume, I ended up really liking how it made me smell. It was simple and clean and I got a lot of complements on its scent.5
I loved this scent! I don't like heavy scents and this was very light and smelled great!4
This is my new absolute favorite! I finally have found the perfect scent! THANK YOU BIRCHBOX!5
Simple, fresh, clean smell that is strong but not overpowering.3
This "not a perfume" has a nice, clean scent. I don't buy perfume and only use it when I get samples, but this is one I'd wear regularly because it's not too heavy.4
