Romano Ricci, the self-described offbeat dandy of the perfume world, only used one element—Cetalox—to create this minimalist perfume. Even if you've never heard of it, you've undoubtedly picked up its scent. Used as a back note in thousands of fragrances, Cetalox (a synthetic substitute for grey amber) takes center stage in Not a Perfume. The result is elegant, pure, spicy, and completely allergen-free.
This perfume was amazing. Not overbearing but stayed on all night!5
it smells really good and fresh but it doesn't last3
Good product would definitely buy and recommend to others to buy5
A friend of mine loves this perfume. It has a nice scent but didn't work well with my skin type.4
Honestly one of the best scents I've ever smelled. Got so many compliments!5
I love that this is not overpowering, just enough scent to make me feel pretty.4
This wasn't a scent that I liked at all, maybe because it was synthetic? Maybe I just don't like grey amber. I'm not sure. It just didn't smell good to me, and was (thankfully) very faint even immediately after applying it. It faded to nothing within ten minutes. I'm not a fan of marinating in fragrance, but what's the point if you can't even smell it? I think they need to take this one back to the drawing board. Cool idea, poor execution.1
Great perfume... Very nice, interesting smell... I like it a lot5
This perfume smells so amazing. I was really suprised at the complexity of a one note scent!
For anyone who loves perfumes, this is a must! I have to say, the perfume's reputation precedes it, and it lives up to the hype. It is so fresh and is what I call a "high-definition" perfume. Not overwhelming though. It's both smart and sensuous at the same time. So glad I got a sample from Birchbox!5
