Romano Ricci, the self-described offbeat dandy of the perfume world, only used one element—Cetalox—to create this minimalist perfume. Even if you've never heard of it, you've undoubtedly picked up its scent. Used as a back note in thousands of fragrances, Cetalox (a synthetic substitute for grey amber) takes center stage in Not a Perfume. The result is elegant, pure, spicy, and completely allergen-free.
This just smells like drug store perfume. Not worth 90 bucks.2
I thought this was an interesting idea for a fragrance and enjoyed the scent but was surprised by how quickly it disappears. Not long lasting at all!3
I love how simple and clean this scent is. I have been wearing the same scent for years - I am always so worried about trying a new smell. This may make me change. Love the name and the sample.5
I received this item in my May Birchbox. Usually I am not a big fan of perfume that I get in my box but I really liked this one.5
I like that the scent is subtle and not over powering. Nice scent everyday use but too expensive.5
It's a little spicy but not overpoweringly so. A nice subtle fragrance. A little pricier than I normally go go but I might have to save some points for this5
I like that it has one note, but it's not my type of scent. It smells like a fern or some dry green bush, almost like an herb you eat; oregano or thyme. Not my thing.1
I loved this spicy simple scent definitely going to purchase a full size :)5
I never thought I would buy a perfume at this price point, but I am so hooked on my sample that I think it's a must. I had people commenting on it all day the first time I wore it. It's a beautiful and unique scent.5
the packaging of this product was adorable, but the scent just isn't me.3
