Romano Ricci, the self-described offbeat dandy of the perfume world, only used one element—Cetalox—to create this minimalist perfume. Even if you've never heard of it, you've undoubtedly picked up its scent. Used as a back note in thousands of fragrances, Cetalox (a synthetic substitute for grey amber) takes center stage in Not a Perfume. The result is elegant, pure, spicy, and completely allergen-free.
Beautiful fragrance I can see having for a long time.5
I enjoyed wearing this perfume. It lasted an average length of time, and wasn't problematic when mixed with other products I use. I don't wear perfume, but I like this!4
I did not really like the minimalist scent of this product, it just was not for me3
I did not care for the scent at all. It smells very perfume-y...like generic smelling. I thought maybe it was because I'm pregnant with a sensitive smeller but my husband told me I smell like an old lady after spraying this on. Ready to be a mommy, not a granny.1
I love perfume, but lately have been in a prefume drought. I just haven't found a scent recently that I love. The drought is officially over! I LOVE this scent. It is simple and clean smelling. It reminds me of elegance. I also don't feel like my own body chemistry and pheromones are overpowered by something artificial. Plus, the scent has staying power. I can't stop sniffing my wrists because it smells that nice.
A little goes a long way though, so don't soak yourself in it or it may be too strong. Just a little is all you need.
its me:) and it lasted most of the day, did reapply after 6 hours...4
This was a nice warm, grown up scent, not "old" but not cloyingly sweet either. It's a nice spicy, sexy scent.4
This perfume is great for people who are worried about their friends with a sensitive sense of smell. This perfume has just the right amount of scent without being too overwhelming.
As for the sample, mine didn't come with a cap, and I don't know if it was supposed to be like that, or if mine was missing. I wanted to take it on vacation with me, but I'm afraid it will squirt everywhere in my bag.
The packaging for this perfume (the sample) was so pretty that it immediately got my attention. It was very sweet-smelling.3
I'm torn on this one - I'm not completely sold on the scent, but wondering if maybe I just need to get used to it. Will try it for the next few days to reassess. Has a bit of an alcohol smell to it, but maybe I used too much? Jury's still out.4
