Romano Ricci, the self-described “offbeat dandy of the perfume world,” used only a single element to create this minimalist perfume. Ricci takes Shakespeare’s ill-fated heroine as the inspiration for his line, giving her a 21st century makeover. Not a Perfume is a unique, minimalist scent that uses just a single note.
I love the scent of this perfume! So different than what I normally purchase, but I can not wait to use some of my points to buy this stuff!5
On me, this is a pleasant, light skin scent that I would describe as sweet, slightly musky and ethereal. This would work an an office or weekend scent. It goes without saying that, due to our individual chemistry, perfumes smell different on different people. Most of my perfumes are niche brands and I love that Juliette Has a Gun decided to create a perfume based only on Ambroxan, a synthesized ingredient inspired by Ambergris that is often tucked away in perfumes amongst other notes.4
Not a perfume...not for me. Granted this scent has been much better than all the other ones I keep getting in my box. This one is not QUITE as headache-inducing. Also doesn't smell like something a teenage girl would wear either, so that's another thing it's got going for it. Still wasn't a fan of the scent. Fortunately (or not) this fragrance doesn't have much staying power.2
This is by far my favorite perfume sample that I've received in my box! I'm pretty picky about my perfume and this ome was spot on! It's light and not over powering at all. I was disappointed that it's out of stock!5
Love this fragrance! It's a very delicate, airy scent and was perfect for me. Unlike most fragrances that are too much, this is perfect and received a lot of compliments. Am considering purchasing this.5
New favorite scent but I just don't love it $90 worth. I I think I $65 love it.5
light, lingering smell that puts a smile on my face and prompts others to ask what I'm wearing...4
I can't quite think of a word that describes this scent. Most perfumes are either floral, fruity, woodsy, or musky. This is just somewhere in between those. It's a rich, bright scent. I love it.5
The smell didn't feel special to me, but I could understand why others like it. However, I was very disappointed by how little time the scent lasted on my skin.3
This fragrance was very pleasant but it wasn't anything I fell in love with right away. All of the fragrances I normally wear I am completely in love with so this won't be making it into my regular rotation.4
