Romano Ricci, the self-described offbeat dandy of the perfume world, only used one element—Cetalox—to create this minimalist perfume. Even if you've never heard of it, you've undoubtedly picked up its scent. Used as a back note in thousands of fragrances, Cetalox (a synthetic substitute for grey amber) takes center stage in Not a Perfume. The result is elegant, pure, spicy, and completely allergen-free.
The scent is fairly light and in some ways feels "warming" due to the spicy notes. It is something that I really have enjoyed wearing this week.4
Creative. Light. And refreshing. It really is hard to detect on someone, maybe you'll get a whiff occasionally.. But it's perfect for those who don't like wearing perfumes and are sensitive to smells.. If you haven't found a light scent that is not too innocent (almost spicy) this is one to try.4
I loved this scent. The best thing about it is how subtle it is. My boyfriend has scent allergies so I never wear perfume, but this was light enough and not overkill on the scent that he could handle it :)5
At first I was very skeptical but after putting the perfume on I love it! Not an overpowering smell but just enough for me to smell it all day.4
Smells really good, fresh and light. But really expensive for perfume4
This product smells really nice, but as others have said, there is no way I would pay $100 for a bottle of it.4
I'm not a huge perfume person but I love this scent. not too strong but sexy! love it!5
The frangrance is fantastic but does not last as long in a days worth. I would definitely recommend this for a date night or special occasion.4
Has the same key scent as Bulgari Omnia, but is light enough to wear casually around the house without feeling like your wearing perfume.5
What a fabulous idea, to let this single ingredient speak for itself. I personally love this scent, but if you don't care for it, you know exactly which element is the culprit. This means you can also look for it in other perfumes and potentially save yourself from disappointment.5
