Romano Ricci, the self-described offbeat dandy of the perfume world, only used one element—Cetalox—to create this minimalist perfume. Even if you've never heard of it, you've undoubtedly picked up its scent. Used as a back note in thousands of fragrances, Cetalox (a synthetic substitute for grey amber) takes center stage in Not a Perfume. The result is elegant, pure, spicy, and completely allergen-free.
I was very intrigued by the whole "not a perfume" thing and a single note fragrance. I absolutely love the smell and recognized it as being a common note in a lot of my favorite perfumes. I don't feel that it lasts quite as long as I'd like but it's easy to reapply without getting too overpowering. The ONE con, in my opinion, is the packaging. I think the bottle and design is hideous. Wish they would improve on the packaging aesthetics of this line.5
This fragrance smells amazing, much better than the other ones that I have received. It also stays on and even after I shower, the scent lingers.5
Nice clean scent. Musky undertones with a fresh scent that lasts all day long5
