Before you break out your bikinis and sarongs, make sure you stock up on SPF. We’re fans of this award-winning brand’s lightweight lotion, which meets all international standards for sun safety. Great for face and body alike, it provides broad-spectrum protection and lasts for up to 80 minutes in water. It’s so safe that even infants can wear it, and the 1.6 oz. tube is perfectly sized for your beach tote or carry-on.
When this came in my monthly box I was excited. When I tried it, I wasn't very impressed. I didn't like the consistency or the smell. I would definitely recommend trying a sample before purchasing the regular size to see if it works for you.2
My daughter was recently diagnosed with vitiligo , a skin condition where there is a loss of pimgment that results in white patches over large areas of the body. These white patches have no natural UV protection, so wearing sunscreen is critical. The problem? Most sunscreens are heavy and smelly and just not fun to wear. Supergoop! is an exception. It is lightweight, and feels good on the skin, and has minimal smell so she wears it without any complaint (she's 7). I'm happy to have found this product.4
While I wish this had a higher SPF, the 30 does work. The sunscreen goes on smooth, non greasy and blends easily into the skin without leaving a while film.5
I have sensitive skin and have found supergoop to be the best sunscreen. Not greasy and doesn't sting. The only reason I don't give it five stars is that it's a bit expensive but living in Florida it's something I'm willing to splurge on. Highly recommend!4
I love the fact that this moisturizer has an SPF. What I don't love is the slightly sunscreen scent it has. I also had trouble smoothing it across my skin, and felt like I had to use a lot to cover my entire face and neck area.3
I love this product! I only have two complaints 1) It can sometimes feel like i'm sweating more than I normally do and 2) It is so watery that if you don't hold the bottle nozzle up it can spill and you will lose too much of this pricey product. If it weren't for my Birchbox points I probably wouldn't have purchased this at full price.4
I liked the product, and I am thrilled to see that it has 30 SPF instead of 15, like most products, but it was a little more like putting regular sun-block on your face. It didn't have an elegant feel, it was thicker, and smelled kind of like sunblock too.4
Great product, goes on nicely, doesn't make my skin break out... A++ in my book!5
I used the sample from Birchbox every day at the beach last week on my face only. Usually, sunscreens clog my pores or make my face burn or tingle. Not this stuff! Goes on smooth, no noxious smells, and doesn't irritate my skin. I will definitely be getting the full size product.5
Love the idea of moving to products with fewer of the "bad" chemicals in them. This applied well, didn't have an icky smell, and didn't leave a white sheen like some sunscreens do. However, if you have oily skin, I wouldn't use this on your face. Made me much greasier in less time than normal.4
