Popularized in Asia, BB creams have been making waves on both sides of the Atlantic—and we’re happy to report the positive press is well-deserved. We’re particularly smitten with this preservative-free version from boscia, a brand that combines the best in botanical science with Japanese innovation. It functions as a primer , moisturizer, foundation, and SPF to lighten your makeup bag and streamline your morning routine. The oil-free formula comes in a universal, self-adjusting shade that is suitable for most skin tones. It creates a lustrous finish and provides natural coverage that conceals imperfections.
Please bring back this BB! I loved it so. It matched my skintone perfectly, had great light coverage (just enough to cover my redness), and applied like a dream.5
This for a long time was my go to BB cream. I still keep it stocked as one if my regular options but have since included a few others. I would say this BB Cream has medium light coverage. The color seems to work well on a variety of Caucasian skin tones and undertones. Sadly I would be surprised if this product works for very many women of color. The finish is definitely dewey, not matte at all but it's still very nice. It does seem to separate in the tube if it gets to warm or starts getting old and affects the texture a little bit. Overall a good purchase if you know you can use it up in <6 months.4
I love BB creams, it's all that I use! My daily routine is very low maintenance so to have a multitasking product that has a sunscreen, is good for your skin, AND offers coverage...makes it the perfect product for me!5
This is the product that turned me on to BB creams.4
I purchased the full size after using the sample that came in my box. It's a decent BB cream-- the texture is good. However the color wasn't a perfect match for my skin. I haven't repurchased it .3
I didn't feel a difference in my skin with this product, though my sister liked this sample and hasn't stopped purchasing it.2
I found this to be more like a traditional tinted moisturizer than a Korean-style BB cream. Which typically have more coverage. The coverage on this is very light for those days when you want the no-makeup look.3
I like the idea of BB cream and I've tried a few but I just don't think it's for me. I end up breaking out and feeling oily. This boscia one was no exception. I am also very fair and found the color a little too dark for me.2
It is a nice cream- it compares to a tinted moisturizer to be honest. didn't blow me away but I did enjoy the sample4
I have ultra-sensitive skin and have tried quite a few BB creams. I love the concept behind Boscia, which is a toxin -free line. I only recently discovered the brand and have purchased quite a few of their products. The BB cream is yet another excellent product that works well with sensitive skin. It provides great coverage with a dewy, healthy finish. It looks very natural. I'm southeast Asian with olive skin-tone and it doesn't look too pale or too grey, as quite a few do. For my particular skincare needs, I would give it an A+.5
