While we love our go-to facial wash, sometimes our skin needs a way deeper clean. Enter: this French green clay face mask, which sheds weekly dirt and grime buildup. Active stem cells and CGF (chlorella growth factor) revitalize skin cells—leaving a refreshing tingling feeling—while argan and seabuckthorn oils provide moisture and hydration.
I think I may have reviewed this product when I first got it as a sample (which was a generous sample!!). After using it every two to three weeks, I felt I MUST write another.
My skin is soft! Like baby-skin-soft. I have a 4 year old and my face feels like hers (mom's you know what I mean)!! I've tried acid peels, microdermabrasion and other masks for the past several years to keep my face feeling silky- but this actually works. I'm not sure exactly when it did, but I consciously became aware of it this week. I haven't changed anything else to my skin care regiment, I generally don't wear a lot of makeup, moisturizer, bronzer, eyeliner, mascara and I'm out the door type of gal. I also drink a lot of water, but that's been a constant.
I will definitely purchase this again, and again, and again.
Positives: 1) mask goes on easy and does not burn while drying on skin; 2) it foams up when washing off which leaves skin feeling really clean; 3) even though it doesn't advertise this as a benefit, this mask leaves my skin matte all day; and 4) while I don't think it does much brightening, it does seem to help even out my skin tone (I struggle with acne and redness).
Major negative: it smells absolutely horrid, nauseatingly so! The smell is so bad that it makes it hard for me to want to use a product that really does make my skin feel soft, clean, and shine-free. But I have decided that the benefits outweigh the nasty smell and I will finish the bottle, probably won't buy it again though.
