While we love just about every product that Melvita rolls out, it’s their lovely Floral Waters that keeps us coming back for more. These refreshing sprays combine lightweight hydrating properties with deliciously addictive scents. Powered by organic ingredients like rose petals and lavender (plus always-beneficial H20), each spray soothes, firms, and heals delicate skin. And, with light, fresh fragrances, they can also be used as a hair and home scent.
First off, I got the rose scent- EW! It smells like my great grandmother did when I was a little girl! Maybe the Orange Blossom would be better but the product itself isn't that great either! It comes off to heavy to spray on your skin with no after thought. I would prefer a light scented perfume mist!1
The scent is lovely, but it is not at all long-lasting on my skin or clothes. I don't really "get" the idea of these freshening mist products, I guess I'd rather just take a shower or stay in the air conditioning. I will probably use the rest of my sample size to spray on my pillows and to freshen my room, because I do really like the scent.2
Refreshing when you first spray it, but I am really not sure it serves a true purpose. Felt more like a novelty to me. I am not crazy about the rose smell, but considering it IS rose water...2
I guess I'm more of a fruity gal, this was just too floral for me2
I really didn't like this product but that is probably because I am not a fan or Rose Water smelling things. My husband did like the scent though and i will say that it was not overbearing and didn't stick on you like you were walking around with a rose air freshener.2
I have been using Lush Eau Roma Water as a toner for a while now and have always like the product. I also really enjoy Jurlique's rose water. Melvita water has a very strong rose scent, much stronger than Lush's water. I dont liek the spray bottle; rather than spritzing/misting your face, it actually sprays onto you face, hard! I hafta use a spray or two then rub it around to cover my whole face. I do like the blue bottle and the size is perfect for travelling, but i think i will stick to my other brands.2
Got this sample in rose, which is just not my scent, but for those who like rose, it may appeal. The scent is natural, and I may have liked it in another fragrance. The price seems high for a floral water, though, and I probably would look for something similar in another brand.2
I hate this smell. I would rather have more make up products.2
The bottle is very nice and I like natural products, but this one misses the mark a bit. The smell is VERY strong and just seems off to me. I also had a problem with the spray bottle. The pump on it was very stong and seem to deliver too much, too harshly. I wanted a nice spritz and got an unpleasant facefull. That may have just been my bottle, so I can't say they are all like that.2
Didn't see much of a difference. I'll give it a few more tries.2
