For natural, unfussy waves, nothing beats a dip in the ocean. But short of moving to the Caribbean, there’s no way to recreate that look at a moment’s notice—or so we thought. This two-in-one spray adds texture and shine to our hair, allowing us to create a piecey, tousled look minus the stiffening effects of salt water. It’s suitable for all hair types, from superfine to ultrathick, and also safe for color-treated or processed strands.
As with most other beach sprays I found this to be just ok - I never get those beachy waves everyone else claims to get, maybe my hair is just too straight. This just made my hair kind of crispy.3
A summer staple to throw in your bag when you need to give your hair a little volume. Gave my hair great shine and texture. Perfect for if you want beachy messy waves, or a textured pony tail or braid.5
I have the small and large size, and really it is an overpriced hair perfume. It makes your hair smell fantastic, but it doesn't do much except make it a bit crispy.2
I was really looking forward to trying this product so I purchased the purse size. It didn't live up to it's description unfortunately. I have naturally wavy hair but instead of giving me a piecy, textured, wavy look, when applied it gave my hair no additional wave and the texture looked more like I had taken hairspray and applied it in chunks throughout my hair.2
Great product, smells great. Does not leave my hair sticky. Creates awesome waves, defies humidity and lasts all day long.5
I love all things Oribe and have never had an issue with any of their full-size products. For some reason this bottle is finicky. The nozzle is so tight I have to press it so hard just to get a little spray to come out. Makes it hard to tell if the product is working well.3
I bought this after my hair stylist used it on my hair. It's hard to find products for beach waves for those of us with "ethnic" hair, and I thought maybe this would be one of them. I use it after twist-outs to help keep my hair separated and piece-y; however, I'm not sure if I can't do the same thing with hairspray. Although, I can say that the product is so soft that you don't feel it on your hair like you would with some hairsprays.3
Love this product and use it daily. I recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Smells amazing and gives great definition to your hair.
This stuff smells amazing but is a bit pricey. I loved everything about it especially the smell. My thick hair looked natural and bouncy. It's just a tad expensive.4
This spray is not a dry shampoo- in fact, it adds a bit of weight and shine to hair to give it the "second day" look.
I have fine, wavy hair, and I sometimes spray this on my hands and then gently scrunch it into my hair. Sometimes if I spray it directly on, it makes it look a little bit greasy. So a light hand is the way to go with this product!
