For natural, unfussy waves, nothing beats a dip in the ocean. But short of moving to the Caribbean, there’s no way to recreate that look at a moment’s notice—or so we thought. This two-in-one spray adds texture and shine to our hair, allowing us to create a piecey, tousled look minus the stiffening effects of salt water. It’s suitable for all hair types, from superfine to ultra-thick, and also safe for color-treated or processed strands.
I have long straight/slightly wavy hair. I thought this might bring out more of the wave in my hair. I followed the directions, I tried to using less and then using a lot. I really experimented with it. I really wanted this to work for me- but it didn't work for my fine hair. Maybe this would work better on thicker hair types. I will have to continue my quest for the perfect, wave/hair texturized unfortunately.
On the upside, the fragrance of this product is really pretty. And the travel size is perfect for "on the go" situations.
Of course this stuff smells amazing, like I thought it would. I can see how this spray would define waves and add texture, but it does give it a bit if a chalky feeling. But the smell is so amazing it may offset that, lol!3
This was a really nice size - great to keep in my purse. Not really something I would purchase though - my hair is very curly and coarse. I prefer hair products that de-frizz and soften.3
I have the mini size and it comes out of the bottle very quickly. My hair was about half way dry when I used it. It smells good but didn't notice much difference than if I had just let it air dry.3
I love all things Oribe and have never had an issue with any of their full-size products. For some reason this bottle is finicky. The nozzle is so tight I have to press it so hard just to get a little spray to come out. Makes it hard to tell if the product is working well.3
I bought this after my hair stylist used it on my hair. It's hard to find products for beach waves for those of us with "ethnic" hair, and I thought maybe this would be one of them. I use it after twist-outs to help keep my hair separated and piece-y; however, I'm not sure if I can't do the same thing with hairspray. Although, I can say that the product is so soft that you don't feel it on your hair like you would with some hairsprays.3
This stuff has a strong smell when spraying it kind of like a perfume smell. I was not a huge fan because I couldn't stand the smell and it would give me a headache. I will say that I can't handle strong smells. Also this spray isn't meant for straight hair. I have long brown hair that is naturally straight and won't hold curls easily so I would say that if you have my type of hair I would say don't use this product.3
if maybe my hair was shorter, I would have had better results, but I think my hair is too thick and long for this to be effective........just made my hair big, but not curly, and I do have some natural curl when I dont straighten it3
I like the smell of the product, but I haven't yet figured out if I really like it or if I am using it correctly!3
love the smell - but would have liked a bit stronger hold, I find it holds even less than other sea salt mists/sprays.3
