We love the sexy bedhead look, but our hair rarely looks hot right after we roll out of bed in the morning. That’s why we’re totally obsessed with this volumizing spray from celebrity stylist Oscar Blandi. All we have to do is lift sections of hair while spraying it from ends to roots, and voila! We’ve got sultry, tousled strands in less time than it takes to get a vanilla soymilk latte en route to the office.
I like the texture and smell of the product but didn't find any true benefit from it. I tried using it from ends to roots and roots to ends but I think my hair type just doesn't work well with this product.2
I didn't care for the smell of this product AT ALL. I understand it's meant for texture but it left my hair feeling (and smelling) like a dirty acrylic blanket. If you need volume and texture, this works but don't let anyone touch your mane or come close enough to get a whiff of its stench.2
Tried this for the first time this morning on second-day hair. I don't think this product was intended for use on curly hair, because it has just made mine kind of crunchy and frizzy. This is not a product I plan to purchase!2
Not too crazy over this product. I don't necessarily feel compelled to buy it again but if worth using if it's already lying around.
The consistency is that of any volume spray and works okay but the smell is horrendous.
I have very fine hair and was excited this was in my birch box, but tried it twice and was not impressed either time. The smell is not great and it left my hair feeling very straw like & did nothing for volume. Am willing to give it a try or 2 more as I still have some left, but seriously doubt I'll finish my sample.2
My hair is crazy think and has too much volume as is, so maybe this spray is just not for me. I used it on second-day hair as advised, after a blowout, and saw virtually no change in volume and just a bit of extra texture. What I did get, however, was a gross feel to my hair - dry, grimy, and gross. As if I'd flat-ironed my hair after using gel to curl it, is the best comparison I can think of. The smell was off-putting as well; very hairspray. Definitely not a miracle worker for me.2
An okay solution for oily roots if your in a quick fix. I would recommend that it be used for up do's too.2
It didn't make me want to switch from what I am currently using. In fact, I tried to make myself use it up, but I just couldn't. The good news is that if you like the product, the full size will last forever.2
I wish I could get past the odd smell of this product to actually use it for its purpose. I wouldn't want to walk around with that smell on my head all day. Yuck.2
Oscar Blandi Pronto Texture & Volume Spray kind of made my hair feel sticky and a bit frizzy.. The Oscar Blandi Pronto Texture & Volume Spray also smells like aqua net hair spray... maybe I did it wrong, but I have tried different hair texturizers and liked them.2
