We love the sexy bedhead look, but our hair rarely looks hot right after we roll out of bed in the morning. That’s why we’re totally obsessed with this volumizing spray from celebrity stylist Oscar Blandi. All we have to do is lift sections of hair while spraying it from ends to roots, and voila! We’ve got sultry, tousled strands in less time than it takes to get a vanilla soymilk latte en route to the office.
This spray is absolutely fantastic in accomplishing exactly what it advertises. It leaves good texture, rinses away clean when washing my hair, and the results are fantastic. The only issue I have is that it smells, weird. Something like that colour hairspray you use for halloween, but worse, and it lingers. If it weren't for the scent, I would give this 5 stars, but as well as it works, it's enough to prevent me from buying it in the future if I even make it through this can.3
I did not notice any textural changes to my hair, nothing I couldn't have done with any hairspray. I do like that it adds volume to dry hair! Most volumizing products need to be added to hair before styling. This is good for that next day hair style and also makes it easy to not overdo the amount you use.3
I was very excited to receive this in my November box because I try to rock sexy bed head hair and can never get it right. The product sprays on & leaves each strand slightly textured so your hair won't lie flat which gives it volume but it has this scent to it that I didn't like. The scent doesn't need to be a perfume but I was distracted by the fact that my hair smelled funny.3
I like the texture and volume this spray provides. It's exactly what is needed to make your locks va va voom. However, the smell of the product is rather unpleasant. And it doesn't seem to fade over the course of the day. Otherwise a great product.3
I got this in my November box and just finally got around to trying it. I naturally have curly wild hair, and well it helped with frizz and smelt good, I didn't notice much of a difference in my hair.3
I really like this product on "day-old" hair. It gives the right amount of texture and volume on what would otherwise be a flat style. That said, it sprays out of the bottle very forcefully and I don't care for the smell.3
I don't tend to believe in products like this, but this spray did slightly improve the volume of my hair on a flat-hair day, compared to other products that claim to do the same thing. The smell could be improved though!3
I was hoping that a luxury-level hairspray would add interest to my fine, pixie-cut hair--I love the ruffled look--& I did enjoy the bedhead effect, even on my short hair...but the smell totally turned me off! I couldn't bring myself to "cover up" something about an expensive product...I'd love news that the smell has changed! :/3
I have extremely thick hair so I'm not usually in the market for a volumizing product, but it did a fantastic job of lifting my heavy hair. I had big beauty queen hair with it, which was great and it smells really good. My only problem is that it is sort of sticky and it stays sticky. I play with my hair a lot and it was sort of gross to feel that it was still sticky hours after application.3
My hair is very fine and thin. I've never dyed it so it is pretty healthy, therefore it does not have a lot of texture. This product is a great texturizer. The product itself is great, but I can not get over the smell of the hair spray! This may just be me, but it smells awful. I've been spraying one of my volumizing hairsprays over it just to cover up the smell.3
