Known for both couture and accessible fashion, Oscar de la Renta had a knack for effortless-yet-elegant design—and the same can be said for the designer’s namesake fragrance. Inspired by the gardens of Santo Domingo, this scent has a deep floral bouquet paired with soft, woody accents. With notes of bergamot, clove, jasmine, rose, musk, and amber, this scent is perfect for both dressed-down and dressed-up days.
Classic scent but not for me. It stimulated memories of older department store cosmetic counters. Spritzing on the sample, the scent lasted throughout the day but as I don't want to smell like I just walked out of Hecht's (now Macy's) in the 80s, I think I will pass on this one.
