We're kicking the outdated, crunchy curl look to the curb. This lightweight styling lotion gives definition to stubborn curls. The creamy formula delivers fluffy, touchable curls and larger than life volume, without weighing down your hair's natural bounce. It's made with a healing blend of avocado, coconut, sweet almond, and olive to repair dry, damaged locks. Plus, the fresh scent is sublimely subtle enough for everyday wear.
My daughter and I have very thin curly hair and hers tends to frizz because she's four and plays with it. I tried this product in both of our hair and it's AMAZING!! No frizz for either of us and the smell is awesome. Like fabric softner and I love the lotion texture of the product! I will be purchasing a full size of this product.5
I have curly/wavy hair and this product didn't do anything but weigh my hair down! I wished it worked but it didn't for my hair.2
I have been wanting to try this.product for a while now but couldn't justify spending $20+ on a product that may or may not work on my type of curls. I was thrilled to receive the sample in my Birchbox! I have large spiral curly hair that tends to get really weighed down with other cream like products but not with Miss Jessie's Pillow Soft Curls. I was pleasantly surprised. I'm looking forward to buying this product and working it into my hair routine!4
Love this creme! my hair is so soft and I have bouncy curls afer I apply this to my hair! Love it!5
I have fine, wavy hair, and this product absolutely makes it feel soft. But without some other product (Davines gesso, for instance), it leaves my hair undefined and messy. It might do a better job with curls that are more defined to start with, but it does nothing beyond softening my hair.3
I have wavy fine hair, it's very difficult for me to tame my waves on a regular basis. I've tried tons of different curl products to no avail- but this product worked great! I followed the directions exactly and applied it to wet/towel dried hair. My waves stayed tame and soft and bouncy. They did not get hard and were still manageable. The best part about this product was to help reshape the curls, all I had to do was add a little more water to my hair and -voila! The product would allow me to re-coil some of my curls. The only reason I didn't give this product a 5/5 was because of the smell- It's not terrible but I'm not too keen on it myself. I do, however, like it enough to purchase in the future.4
i loved the way this smelled, as did my boyfriend! unfortunately, it didn't really do much for my fine super frizzy curls/waves.3
I have a lot of hair so its way easier to curl then straighten, this product was great3
To give you an idea of what works for my hair, I have sampled, fallen in love with, and purchased Miss Jessie's Quick Curl cream. This particular Miss Jessie's product didn't work out so great for me. It was too sticky to be easy to work with. I would compare it to a runny texturizing balm, and my hair doesn't need any more texture. It was also way too heavy for my hair type. It turned my hair into this strange, half wavy, half twirly disaster that resembled a Field Spaniel. Look up the picture if you can't conjure up that image in your head. The scent was not unpleasant, but not something I care for in a hair product. It smells just like a "clean linen" or "fresh cotton" room spray or candle, with a hint of sunscreen.1
To give you an idea of what works for my hair, I own Miss Jessie's Quick Curls cream and adore it. This particular product is a bit too sticky and heavy for my hair texture, and I wouldn't recommend it for hair that is fine. I would compare it to a runny texturizing balm. My naturally bouncy curls were weighed down and didn't "boing up" at all. The top of my head and midshafts resembled the flat, crunchy look of a high school girl who thought using half a bottle of gel would make her stick straight hair turn curly, while my ends twirled leaving me looking like a Field Spaniel. This effect was not caused by using an excess of product in case you're wondering. The scent reminds me of "fresh linen" sprays and candles, with a hint of sunscreen.1
