We're kicking the outdated, crunchy curl look to the curb. This lightweight styling lotion gives definition to stubborn curls. The creamy formula delivers fluffy, touchable curls and larger than life volume, without weighing down your hair's natural bounce. It's made with a healing blend of avocado, coconut, sweet almond, and olive to repair dry, damaged locks. Plus, the fresh scent is sublimely subtle enough for everyday wear.
I'm actually a faithful user to Miss Jessie's Pillow Soft Curls! I have two full size bottles that I'm going through. I am actually going to pass this trial size to a friend.
What I love about Pillow Soft Curls is the smell and the fact that my curls aren't crunchy. They are soft and bouncy. The product has great slip and it's easy to move it through wet hair. I don't put heat on my hair, I only air dry, which is a pain if the product is too heavy. This is great because my hair will be dry within an hour.
I really like this product. I have thick, wavy, color-treated hair that gets a lot of frizz if i don't use a stylying product. Because of all the damage my hair has received in the last two years from bleaching, I am trying to cool it with heat styling. This product is great. I use it after I towel dry my hair just a little and then scrunch it a bit. The results are beautiful after my hair air dries and the style lasts up to 2 days. All I need to do is re-wet it a little to reactivate the product. If you use too much of the product, then your hair will look a little weird (a little greasy/crunchy), otherwise I would definitely buy this product.4
I used this product now on 4 different occasions...And I will admit that the curls the day after - even afte very rough brush through seem to spring back into a very nice shape. Still trying to get over the texture when you rub it into wet hair. That stuff feels slimy and gross, lol. But works really nicely.4
I was excited to try this product, but the first time I used it I used a little too much. It made my hair feel greasy. When I used it again, I don't think I used enough because my hair was still really frizzy. I haven't been able to get the right amount for my hair.3
This product made my hair nice and soft, however it added a little too much weight. Even after I curled from the root in the morning, by mid day it would flatten at the top. However, a little hairspray helped the situation. :) Other than that, I thought the product was nice.4
For what it advertises, the product seems to be working fairly well for my hair. It doesn't seem to be much more/less effective than a cheaper curl enhancer, though it leaves less crunchy residue than some I have tried. Like some other reviewers, what I cannot get over is the smell, it's pretty awful right out of the bottle. After applying it, i noticed my hands were super soft for quite a while, they just smelled pretty bad. Once you get it in your hair the scent changes a little, but it's still very strong and lasts all day long. If you have longer hair, every time you move your head you get another whiff.2
As a woman with fine, naturally curly hair, I am a fan of Miss Jessie's products so I was excited to try the Pillow Soft Curls sample! I was disappointed however because when I tried it, the look I got reminded me of when I used to use mousse in my hair.
I applied the product when my hair was wet and let it air dry (this usually leaves me with the most luxurious curls). After my hair was dry it looked a little stiff and so then I mussed with the curls a little to soften it up, but it didn't really help too much.
I will go back to using Miss Jessie's Curly Pudding, since that seems to work best for my curls so far!!
really like this product. better than any drugstore curl product I have tried. The end result is pretty, soft curls with no "crunch"4
I have coarse, frizzy hair that is usually difficult to tame. This product did not leave my curls poof-free. I could not use this as an apply-and-go product like I was hoping.3
I have very curly hair and I always hated using gel because of the crunchy way it would set my hair. I hate to let my hair air dry so I almost always use a hair dryer and a diffuser. A trick I use is after my hair is done drying I take a dime size amount in my palm mix it with a bit of water and run my hands through my hair to get rid of any friz that might still be there.4
