We're kicking the outdated, crunchy curl look to the curb. This lightweight styling lotion gives definition to stubborn curls. The creamy formula delivers fluffy, touchable curls and larger than life volume, without weighing down your hair's natural bounce. It's made with a healing blend of avocado, coconut, sweet almond, and olive to repair dry, damaged locks. Plus, the fresh scent is sublimely subtle enough for everyday wear.
This product is wonderful. My curls are indeed soft and touchable until anything I have ever used before. Love it!5
I love the smell of this product and what it does for my crazy curly hair! I currently use products with Moroccan Oil, and love them, but if I need to switch it up, I'll definitely be buying this!4
I loved this product so much, I ran right out and bought it. Both my mom and I tried the samples in the BB, and we both agreed that it made our hair soft, reduced frizz, enhanced curl, and smelled great. I am sold on this product.5
I have never really found a product for my curly hair that I actually love. The price is more than I would usually spend, but worth it...this stuff is good! It noticeably changed the texture of my hair right away, and my curls look great... not crunchy AND no frizz!
The only thing that takes some getting used to is the smell...its a bit strong.
I am highly skeptical about any product that solicits "pillow soft curls", because I've tried every product out there: drugstore, expensive salon products, home remedies, African-American curl products, the kitchen sink. I have very thick, coarse, curly, unruly hair. I'm not ethnically diverse in any way, I just have crazy hair. Sure, I can use any curling agent I want on my hair and be guarenteed beautiful curls...BUT IT DOESN'T LAST, it turns my normally dry hair/scalp into grease ball, medusa hair, or so crunchy I feel like it'll snap off any moment. My only remedy for those products is having natural hair for a day (barely--with the assistance of a beaucoup amount of product), but also taking the chance of having crunchy/greasy hair that'll only be rescued washing it out the next day (which dries it out more). I haven't found a product until Miss Jessie's that I can actually maintain having beautiful curls for NUMEROUS days, that smells absolutely divine, and doesn't make my hair greasy. Oh, and just in case you doubt it could get better, you need very minimal product, AKA, saves money for all the deep conditioners us curly-haired girls need. Helpful hints: if products tend to make you oily, avoid your roots, like by 3 inches. Scrunch it in your hair. Air dry. My hair is boob-length and I use a large pea sized amount. I rub it in my hands first like lotion and distribute it. Buy it--you will thank me later.5
I wanted to like this... I have straight hair, but my daughter has curls. I tried it out on her, and she DID have nice soft curls, but she REEKED like a bottle of Snuggle fabric softener... even after I washed her hair twice. Yikes!2
The package advertises that it is "like fabric softener for your hair"...and it certainly smells just like fabric softener. Overwhelmingly so. After it dried, my hair smelled nice, but the scent was way too strong right after I applied it.
The directions say to "scrunch and let air dry or blow dry with a diffuser". I tried both methods but neither worked for me (in terms of curls). Disclaimer: My hair is very difficult and very few products work.
I'm in love with this product. It made my hair super curly and it didn't weigh my hair down at all which is a big plus.5
I guess I was hoping for miracles, but this product still can't get my hair to stay in nice curls throughout the day. As for frizziness, it's fine when the sun is shining, but when there's any moisture in the air -- and that's often in Oregon -- the frizz returns.3
Very strong scent smelled like fabric softener. Didn't make my waves/curls any better than other products I've tried like fredric fekkai or osis. Not going to buy.3
