The curly-hair experts at Miss Jessie’s® continue to impress us with their problem-solving, hair-maximizing products. Their latest formula helps curls look their best by adding volume while boosting shine. It loosens and lengthens tightly wound curls without weighing hair down. It’s great for the full spectrum of curly textures, from kinky coils to tight ringlets.
While I liked the smell of this product, it made my natural loose curls look oily and heavy...would no recommend for someone trying to go for a natural, soft look.3
No matter the size of product I put on my hands to comb through, my hair always looks extra greasy. While the product works to make make my curls gorgeous, they look a little too wet for my liking throughout the day.3
It smells amazing but didn't do anything to define my curls--in fact, it made them even less defined than usual (maybe that's the "loosening"?) while somehow also causing my hair to spring up more. A useless product for me but probably great for someone whose hair is more wavy than ringlets.3
I thought it was okay. It left my hair soft and not crunchy at all, but it didn't do much for the curl. I'll definitely give it another shot though... wondering if I didn't use enough product.3
I tried this on my hair after watching lots of Youtube hair gurus using it. It does what it's supposed to do, but it left my hair extremely dry. Also, this product is very expensive! I will finish using the jar I have but I probably will not repurchase it.3
I love the way the product smells and it does make my wavy frizzy hair a bit more curly but my hair get way more frizzy. It didn't matter if I air dried or used the defusser3
Miss Jessie's® Original Stretch Silkening Crème is to heavy for my baby fine hair. The smell is great and I will give the product to a friend because she has super thick curly hair.
This stuff worked alright. It didn't leave my hair feeling sticky and gross or super crunchy which is something I hate BUT...if you have a lot of hair, turn the other way. This product requires that you go through your hair and put the creme on in 1-inch sections. Not only did this take me FOREVER because I have A LOT of hair, but I had to use an entire 2oz container! As an 8oz jar of this stuff is $22, this product is definitely out of my price range.3
I received a sample of Miss Jessie's® Silkening Crème in my August Birchbox. This seems like a good product, and I've heard great things about it, but it didn't work with my hair. It weighed my curls down. It seems like it is for thicker hair, and my curls are pretty fine. I would probably recommend it to a friend with a more appropriate hair type.3
This product was not something I would have selected for my hair type, but seemed like a really great product. I even went to their website to order additional samples to see what else they have to offer.3
