The curly-hair experts at Miss Jessie’s® continue to impress us with their problem-solving, hair-maximizing products. Their latest formula helps curls look their best by adding volume while boosting shine. It loosens and lengthens tightly wound curls without weighing hair down. It’s great for the full spectrum of curly textures, from kinky coils to tight ringlets.
I have naturally curly hair and am always looking for products to help fight the frizz. However, this stuff makes my hair feel super greasy and not soft and manageable. I have tried other Miss Jessie's products and been satisfied so maybe this product just doesn't go with my hair type.3
i can't really attest to it's curl helping ability (because i used it with other products) but this stuff smells AMAZING. i'm going to buy it just because i'd like my hair to always smell this good!4
Doesn't give my curly hair enough control. By the end of the day, my hair is super frizzy.1
I love this product because it kept my usually frizzy curly hair CURLY, shiny and frizz free! I normally straighten my hair all the time because I don't like how it looks curly, but with this product, I'll be able to give my hair the rest it needs without it looking like a mess! :)4
I've tried this before and was happy to get a sample as well. It is best for really curly, thick hair. My hair isn't that thick, but it still works well. The key is to either use it in the shower or right when you get out and your hair is soaking wet. Use a generous amount. It doesn't try hard or sticky at all. Leaves are completely defined and soft. I would recommend using a diffuser for a little more volume and faster drying, because it does take a while to completely dry. Great product!4
First off, this stuff smells AMAZING. Exactly like old school Calgon bubble bath. My hair smells so good, I didn't think I would care at all what it looked like. But I just don't think "silkening" is the right thing to call this...maybe "rayoning" is more appropriate, because my hair feels kind of too squeaky clean and is a bit hard to deal with after using it. I might just keep it in my desk drawer for aromatherapy, though.3
This smells so good. Keeps my blonde curls from getting dried out and frizzy.5
