This artisanal lip balm is the best thing to come out of Oregon since Portlandia. Free of artificial ingredients, it’s made with shea butter, jojoba, and other natural hydrators. We love the dense, smooth texture and two sweet flavors Pomegranate & Fig (a Birchbox exclusive!) and Coconut Almondine Lip Butter. Plus, the indie cool design of its recyclable MIRON glass container will look right at home with all our sleek fab.com finds.
YO I DID NOT LIKE THIS AT ALL. It burned my lips, was super hard in the package (so it wasn't easy to apply), smelled weird and tasted bad. no no no no no1
Lips feel hydrated when the balm is first applied, but it does not last. Within a few seconds, lips feel dry again.1
I didn't like anything about this product. It tasted gross and didn't hydrate my lips. The packaging is unattractive. I try a lot of lip balms and this one is sub par.1
This product was very poor - I constantly needed to reapply for my lips to stay moisturized. I loved the flavor and container design, but I don't like applying with my fingers. I work at a hospital, so even though I'm washing my hands constantly I try to keep them away from my lips and nose.1
The texture and the scent left much to be desired. It seemed too hard and sticky and the scent/flavor wasn't sweet enough to jam with the rest of my lip collection.1
Leaves virtually no shine at all and doesn't last at all. The subtle scent is nice and I like how it looks RIGHT after I put it on but it's gone before I leave the house!1
I previously reviewed this and gave it 4 stars because I really liked the product. But now I am using it in cold winter weather and have realized the moisturizing properties simply aren't really there. Yes it makes you lips feel like they are being moisturized but my lips are more chapped now after using this product as my only lip balm for the past week than they have ever been. Last night I used vaseline instead and today I have been using good old fashioned chap stick under my lipstick and they are almost completely back to normal.1
I really did want to love this. The smell is great, the texture is nice, but for whatever reason this lip butter just did not jibe with my lips. It made them feel dried out and parched. While I'm not terribly sensitive concerning lip products, and my other friends who received this in their Bbox loved it, it could be something particular to me.1
NO NO NO! Not a fan of this product, very greasy, if it gets on your face it will make you break out and does not help hydrate lips at all1
I thought the lip butter was way to hard to use. I didn't feel like I got any just by rubbing my finger in the pot. I felt like I had to dig it out to get any product. I do like the packaging, but th lip butter is not for me.1
