p>Day-to-day sun exposure requires the same precautions as an afternoon spent poolside. This light yet powerful serum fulfills that everyday need. Both a moisturizer and a broad-spectrum SPF 30, it fights the signs of premature aging—think fine lines and sunspots—and prevents future photo-damage from UV rays. Built for year-round use, it’s great for layering under foundation. The mattifying formula can also stand alone on the days you’re not wearing makeup.
After three days of use I have a severe skin irritation from this product. Ironically I look sunburned on my face even though I haven't been in the sun, and my skin feels so tight. I have really pale skin so I look ridiculous right now with white rimmed eyes and mouth. I have used a wrinkle cream with sunscreen daily for over ten years. I ran out of my normal product and used this as a replacement. Needless to say I went out and purchased my normal product as soon as I realized what was happening. I once had a similar reaction from a brand name lip balm moisturizer. If you have sensitive skin like me, beware!1
This product unfortunately broke my skin out. My skin is a medium sensitivity. It is also thick. Not for me.1
I went to an outdoor festival wearing only this for sunscreen. I live in Florida, so sunscreen is important! I ended up with a sunburn so I wouldn't buy this. It was light and smelled fairly neutral but who wants a sunscreen that lets you burn? I reapplied it every 2 hours so I am sure I used enough. Too bad.1
I'm mostly reviewing the bottle I received, as it's almost impossible to use. The way this bottle is designed is pretty terrible. I have to keep pulling the top up, if I want to try to pump any out. I definitely won't be buying this again.
As for the Supergoop itself, it seems slightly greasier than the ones I've used in the past. Aside from that, it gives good coverage, and appears to stay for awhile.
Wore this under my foundation, and the next day I broke out all over the place. Definitely won't use this again.1
i really liked this product, i usually don't wear sunscreen but i really liked this one, i will probably buy the whole size..1
I received the Supergoop! eye cream in my monthly subscription. I liked it, and needed an everyday sunscreen, so I thought I'd give this a try. It was not a good experience, to say the least. I used it once and it broke me out....and I'm not talking just a few pimples. For an entire WEEK, my face was scaly, rough, red and COVERED in bumps. It was awful. I have sensitive skin, and it is not unusual for my face to react slightly to sunscreens, but the reactions are never more than just pimples in the t-zone area. NOTHING like what happened with this stuff. If you have sensitive skin....BEWARE1
I purchased the full sized bottle to use as facial sunscreen, but it's way too oily. It leaves my face really super shiny all day. Still on the hunt for a good facial sunscreen...2
This serum feels lovely on and leaves my face feeling moisturized, but I had some serious breakouts after using it for a few days, so I won't continue using it. If I hadn't had the breakouts, I'd be a fan!2
I am not usually sensitive to skin products and I usually do not have a problem with blocked pores or acne. However, after a few days of using this sunscreen sample, I got quite a few spots. That was an unfortunate result because I was very excited to try this brand from all the good things I had been hearing. However, this just didn't work with my normal to combination oily skin.2
