Avène Thermal Spring Water - 5.29 oz.

Dermatologists and beauty editors agree: this hydrating, rebalancing mist—sourced from the medicinal springs in Avène, France—is both refreshing and incredibly powerful. Backed by over 300 clinical studies (not to mention centuries of dermatological treatment), this multitasker soothes redness and calms all sorts of skin troubles—from sunburns to allergic reactions to eczema and itching sensations. Use it as a morning toner, spritz it as a mid-day refresher, or keep it in your purse for moments when skin is stressed. Bonus: It also works to set makeup.

Am I being pranked?

So I gave it a go despite being extremely dubious given the description and ingredients. Squirted water in my face and waited for the world to seem better. You can get the same identical feeling standing close to the vegetables at Whole Foods when the spritzers go off. Multi-task!

Setting Spray

Used it as a setting spray and it drains the colour out of my make up and made my skin look darker. Not my favourite product.

Water?

Seriously? For my very first box you put water spray in it? What a waste of time and packaging. I'm a practical woman, not some fashionista that has hours to spend on makeup and toners

As far as I can tell, this bottle is just water. I didn't get the point.

Of spraying myself in the face with water. Give my kids a super-soaker and they do the same thing. When someone can explain to me the purpose of spritzing my carefully made-up face with very expensive water, I will attempt this again. Otherwise, no thanks.

Nothing special

It's just water in a can...I thought it was going to be something special but nope.

Not Impressed

I guess I do not use enough make up to make this product valuable to me. Water in a spray can seems silly; if I want to splash my face I have perfectly good tap water for free...

Mystified
Sampled

I'm not quite sure why I would want spring water in a spray bottle. Maybe if I were hiking and miles away from civilization...but otherwise, I'll continue to use my own water and moisturizer as needed. This is useless.

Seriously what is the point

The ingredients are water and nitrogen. Why would you send me this, Birchbox? I'm so disappointed. It's $14 water in a spray bottle.
