Dermatologists and beauty editors agree: this hydrating, rebalancing mist—sourced from the medicinal springs in Avène, France—is both refreshing and incredibly powerful. Backed by over 300 clinical studies (not to mention centuries of dermatological treatment), this multitasker soothes redness and calms all sorts of skin troubles—from sunburns to allergic reactions to eczema and itching sensations. Use it as a morning toner, spritz it as a mid-day refresher, or keep it in your purse for moments when skin is stressed. Bonus: It also works to set makeup.
After I scrub and cleanse my face every night it feels super sensitive but after using this it was instantly soothed! I truly enjoyed it!4
I really don't understand why someone would pay to have water spray on their face. I could see maybe in the summer time when it's hot.. maybe? I don't get it.2
I thought the Avene water was great! It is light and refreshing and sets my makeup well. I was experiencing some dry skin issues and this helped immediately. I have already purchased the full size bottle and can't wait until it shows up!5
It gives you a refreshed feeling. I would used it before I applied a heavy make up and it felt awesome.5
The product was nice, but left me feeling almost greasy after using it. I am more used to a lotion based product to keep my skin hydrate.3
This came in my last box and I must say I was disappointed. I've used other Avene products, but this didn't really make the mark for me. I tried using it to set my makeup (as the description suggests) and it felt as though my makeup was running off. Maybe it helps some but I wasn't crazy about spending this much on fancy spring water in a can.3
I am not too entirely sure what this product is used for. I read the instructions on the bottle several times and still seemed confused about the purpose. I did use it on my legs and face a couple times. It felt nice and left my skin feeling drewy and soft. Just not sure if that's what its for. :)3
Like other reviewers have already said, its fancy water in a spray can. I have seen Evian's brand of this too in the past and it never appealed to me. I would think the only times this would come in handy would be on the go, say if your hands were dirty or you wanted to rinse something off. Maybe on a long plane ride this would be helpful, IF the TSA lets you take the can on the plane! Another idea would be warm weather relief, feelin' a bit sweaty? Well give yourself a spritz! Just a little more travel-able than a spray bottle you fill up yourself..but for the love of God dont buy it to think its going to make your facial skin look any better.1
I too thought, "oh its just water" before even trying it, but I figured it was gonna be a fun thing to try anyways. Well it turned out that the weather started changing and my itchy, dry, ultra sensitive skin was in so so much pain. I remembered I had this in my purse and when I sprayed it on my face, omg it gave me immediate relief. It toned the pain and irritation down and not just for the time being but for close to an hour. This is something I will definitely be repurchasing in both travel and full size. PS: I have tried so many products both high end and affordable and this is a keeper!!!5
This product is a really great thing to toss in your purse for flights. When I fly, my skin feels awful and dehydrated, no matter how much water I drink. With a quick spray of this, my skin instantly feels refreshed.4
