Dermatologists and beauty editors agree: this hydrating mist is your best bet for curing dryness and irritation in a snap. Bottled from the medicinal springs of Avène, France, it’s rich in minerals that rebalance all kinds of troubled skin. It’s clinically proven to soothe the redness and stinging associated with sunburn, eczema, and other skin conditions. Use it as a morning toner or a mid-day skin refresher.
I laughed when this came in the August Birchbox. I always thought the little spray bottles of spring water were a bit silly and unnecessary. But I tried it and was pleasantly surprised. It left my face feeling soft and refreshed after a really hot day. I don't see myself buying this in the future, but I will probably the sample bottle in my gym bag to cool off after a workout.2
I liked this product. It was a good summer thing to get. I used it on my face and it wasnt as moisturizing as I would of liked...I did however like to put in in my purse and spray my hands and legs. I coulad also get this product at Target for less and would be a similar cheaper option...3
I have love the this for on the go cooling. It can be hot in Florida!5
I was not excited at all to see this in my box. I have tried it out a couple times and it does feel refreshing, but it's not a "must have" item for me. I am going to throw it in our pool/beach bag because I think it would be nice for an after-sun refresher. I'll use up the bottle, but I don't plan on purchasing it again.3
I like this product a lot. I received it when I was dealing with an allergic reaction on my face. Every time my face would get itchy, I would spritz it with the spring water, and the itchiness would go away right away. I also tend to get a prickly heat rash when exercising and it was helpful for that as well.5
I was skeptical of this product's benefit to my skin, but now am a believer. It really does 'quench your skin'! After being at a waterpark all day, I came home with sun dried skin. I spritzed the spring water on my face and it immediately felt better. As if quenched by the spray. I've used it daily since. :)5
I love this product, it's very interesting and definitely unique.3
This is nice stuff. But I'm not that into these mineral water sprays... As far as a refresher goes, it's nice. But it's not anything I would spend my money on.2
Found this product to be truely refreshing and invigorating.5
This product is probably useful for people with extremely dry skin who could probably use it pre-moisturizer and throughout the day to maintain some moisture retention. Fo the vast majority of people, though, the idea of an aerosol can of water (thermal or otherwise) is a bit too precious and first-world for me. If you can find a bottle of water and an empty spray bottle, you can DIY this product with similar results (or better, possibly, depending on your water quality). I'm sure this is useful and amazing for some people. Unfortunately, I am not one of them.3
