Dermatologists and beauty editors agree: this hydrating, rebalancing mist—sourced from the medicinal springs in Avène, France—is both refreshing and incredibly powerful. Backed by over 300 clinical studies (not to mention centuries of dermatological treatment), this multitasker soothes redness and calms all sorts of skin troubles—from sunburns to allergic reactions to eczema and itching sensations. Use it as a morning toner, spritz it as a mid-day refresher, or keep it in your purse for moments when skin is stressed. Bonus: It also works to set makeup.
I sprayed some as a facial refresher, and it's no better than your average mister on a warm day. The ingredients or benefits of it to me are not noticeable. Tried this on some razor burn as well since the instructions claimed it to be good for that. It wasn't effective as other brands are.2
I have never seen the point in these "water" sprays that you can buy, but I tried to have an open mind when I got the sample in my box. I have used it a few times, misting my face after being outside in the sun, and I have to say I didn't feel any different than I would have had I used normal water. The size is very nice and would be handy for traveling, but this type of product is just not for me.3
I was disappointed to see this in my box. It's essentially water that's being marketed as a high end product. I would never spend my money on this in real life. I suppose spritzing water on your body could be refreshing, but I could achieve that by using any old bottle and filling it up with tap water.2
I don't entirely get the point of this product. Yes, it did feel refreshing on my face after I sprayed it, but I also felt silly doing it. This product might be good for someone who gets dry skin throughout the day.3
I like carrying this in my purse. It's a nice refresher at the end of a work day or before a night out. The price seems fair for what you get.5
When I first received my box, I though this was hairspray, but obviously I figured out that it wasn't. I was curious about it. I have bad allergies and I used it one day that my allergies were making my face itchy and dry and it did feel really refreshing. I'm not so sure about repurchasing, but I am looking forward to taking it in my suitcase on vacation to use when I am out in the heat.3
I enjoyed using this product to feel a little pick me up when I was feeling hot and tired during the day. I did not care for the packaging. I could barely read any of the label.3
This is definitely something I would have never purchased or tried on my own before. That being said, it felt nice, the can is a good size. I guess it will come in handy when traveling/flying. But I don't think it's something I would purchase.3
I had very low expectations for this product... I didn't really see the point in it. That being said, I used this on my throbbing feet after a VERY long day and it was like heaven! SO REFRESHING! Then, a few days later, I misted on some skin that was a little pink from the sun. Once again, incredibly refreshing! I used my sample in less than a week.5
I have mild eczema on my upper lip an cheek. When I used the spray it quickly and gently soothed my irritated skin!5
