The idea of using an oil-based cleanser may be unfamiliar at first, but you’ll be glad you made the switch once you try this winning formula. The clear gel binds with excess oil, dirt, and even waterproof makeup to lift it away from your skin without leaving any residue. Use it morning and night to keep your skin clear and smooth. It’s suitable for all skin types and won’t irritate delicate complexions.
I really liked the sample that I got, and decided to order more. At first it seemed to work well, but it did not remove my make-up as thoroughly as I like. After using it for a few days I started to break out in white heads and small, angry red zits. I stopped using it immediately and my acne cleared up. I did find that it works really well as a cuticle conditioner before giving yourself a manicure.1
I understand the premise of an oil cleanser, however in practice it just doesn't work for me or my skin. I ended up having to scrub my face to get rid of the oily residue that this cleanser left behind. My skin felt greasier after using this product than before I even washed my face.1
I guess I am partial to cream cleansers or cleansers that aren't oily. It didn't feel like it got my face clean.2
I needed to use way too much of this product for one wash, and it does not rinse off cleanly. I prefer other oil cleansers over this. The packaging is convenient, but I'd use it up in two or three washes.2
When I used this the first time felt really good but after I use it more frequent it appear to break out my skin and pimples came out. I thought it was going away after a period of time. But actually skin got more pimples and no other ingredients added to calm and clean skin this was like a baby oil gel more expensive. =(2
After using this cleanser I noticed my skin was slippery "wet" feeling it cleaned ok but after a week I noticed a "blind pimple " on my chin.3
i have used other oil cleansers before, and the results are usually great- all the cleaning without losing the moisture. this one however left a weird film on my skin by my 2nd use that i could literally scrape off. i do still use it occasionally, but you wouldn't want this to be your everyday cleanser.3
It's a little on the thick side and hard to spread on my face. I think I like the oils that are more runny. However, I do like the packaging and will save it for the times I'm traveling.3
I decided to try this cleanser mainly to remove my eye makeup and mascara, but also because I was using a thick BB cream that was not easily removed by my cleansers. It does a good job, doesn't burn my eyes, doesn't make them blurry, and doesn't require a cotton pad. I do use my fingers to rub it around and really work it into my eyelashes. I like the tubes for travel, but don't know if it's really practical/cost-effective for daily home use. I've resorted to using this pretty much only for my eyes, then using another cleanser for the whole face.
Again, it does work to remove waterproof mascara! I say this because not all oil based cleansers do and most regular cleansers don't.
I like this product as a makeup remover and as a winter nighttime cleanser. It cleans off makeup and dirt without drying my skin.4
