In the world of hand soaps, this isn’t your usual in-and-out, get the job done formula. This polished number is the sort that waltzes in, meticulously cleans your skin, and then disappears, leaving a luscious fragrance behind. Made with ethically-sourced aloe vera gel, olive oil, and essential oils, the soaps are formulated to soften and purify without drying out skin. Plus, the modern packaging looks straight out of a spread in a design magazine.
If you are in to highly scented hand soaps, then this is for you.1
I wasn't thrilled with getting a sample of hand soap. I think of Birchbox as a fun way to try higher-end beauty products. I can handle finding hand soap on my own. Plus, the Balsam Fir Plum scent just made my hands smell like a christmas tree. Ba humbug.1
Not a fan, left my hands feeling dry and I did not like the smell.1
Works just fine as a soap, but the lavender pine scent smells like floor cleaner. Won't be buying this one.1
I love their products, but have never tried their hand soap. Smelled amazing ...... amazing!! However, it really dried out my hands.1
The Palmarosa version of this soap is so overwhelmingly scented that I washed my hands twice - once to try it, and once right after to get the stink off.1
I liked the lavender smell... but NOT the pine. It was fragernt and strong. Not for me.1
If you want to smell like an herb garden after using this soap, then it is definitely for you! However, it is not my favorite smell. That's the great thing about birchbox, though. You can try something and know that you either totally love it or really don't.1
The soap sample I received smells good, but there's nothing really special about it. Soap is soap to me. Won't be purchasing.2
There isn't anything extraordinary about this hand soap that would make me want to order it again. And I definitely wouldn't select the Sea Salt scent again. It smelled far too masculine, or almost like a household cleanser. For the price and the size of the bottle, it's not worth it.2
