This powerful exfoliator mimics the results of professional microdermabrasion, minus the potential for redness and sensitivity.
I just used my sample of this product and as soon as I put it on my face I knew I wouldn't be purchasing it. But as I worked it in, it discovered every tiny cut in my face. It hurt like crazy and burned. It was just painful to use. And washing it off hurt too. I feel like there's still some on my skin that I couldn't get off. My skin is also super dry and burns now. I've only used it once but I am so disappointed with this product and how much it hurt to use.1
As an licensed esthetician, I am disappointed with this product. It had a terrible smell, I wasn't fond of the pasty texture and it was wayyyy too abrasive. Microcrystals can also cause micro lacerations in the skin. I massaged it in for about a minute and I didn't find my skin feeling any smoother or softer rinsing it off.1
I have rosacea, and this product broke me out in the worst way. I was so disappointed, because I have loved almost everything else I've received from Birch Box.1
I wasn't overly impressed with the product. However the size was also a bit small to see any notable difference to my skin.1
This is way too harsh feels like sea salt and baking soda on your skin it hurts1
I have used many scrubs and I do not like this one. It was too rough, a scrub doesn't have to literally rip your skin off to be effective. I do not feel like this one is good for my skin.1
This product did not agree with my face, I was very flush for 2 days after using it and my cheeks felt raw. Maybe I used too much or scrubbed to hard. Afraid to try again1
The product wasn't very effective for me but was decent. The scrub was hard to get off and my face doesn't feel as soft as I would expect for an exfoliator1
I have really sensitive skin, made way worse by the dryness of winter, and this ripped my skin apart. Dead skin stayed stuck to my face and moisturizer only seemed to sit on top and not sink in after using this. It has great reviews so I'll try again in the spring, but absolutely cannot use in the extreme weather.1
In my survey to help BirchBox figure out what is best to send to me, I said I have sensitive skin. Unfortunately, a lot of facial cleansers, and moisturizers ect. cause me to get hives....1
