This powerful exfoliator mimics the results of professional microdermabrasion, minus the potential for redness and sensitivity. First, papaya enzymes break down dead cells while evening out your skin tone. Next, dermatologist-approved microderm crystals fade the appearance of fine lines and acne scars, leaving skin smooth and free of imperfections. Finally, aloe vera, coconut, and vitamins B and E nourish fresh skin to keep it free of irritation.
It wasn't a good product for my sensitive skin. My face broke out every time I used it. I wish I was able to use this product.1
I did not like this exfoliator at all. It felt like running a fine grit sandpaper on my face and not in a good way. I have used many different exfoliators in the past. I can't say I have disliked any of them as much as I dislike this one. It does not leave me feeling refreshed. Instead I feel like I should go get some aloe on my face pronto.1
A little background history on my skin: I have combination skin and acne-prone skin.
When I first opened my July box, I noticed it right away. The packaging was classy and I felt like I might like it. It's description said that it mimics professional microdermabrasion because of the microderm crystals in it so I was intrigued. Who wouldn't like not spending hundreds of dollars for a professional treatment, right? But once I put some of the product in the palm of my hand... I remembered the reason why professional treatments are expensive. This didn't feel nice on my skin at all. It felt like it was scratching out the skin and it wasn't a pleasant feeling at all! Plus, it smells like detergent and with it's texture on the skin, I'm somewhat convinced that it was detergent. (Yes, I once placed detergent on my face so that's why I know what it feels like). My skin isn't sensitive at all but after washing my face with this, I felt my face screaming for relief because it just didn't feel good at all. After attempting to wash all the product away to no avail, I used my regular cleanser. And let me tell you, if my skin could speak, it would've said "Thank you."
This product has a nice texture for exfoliating and is very gentle. However, I ended up getting a rash on my face from this which tends to happen when I try new products. It is a type of allergic reaction. If you don't have issues with this or with sensitive skin then I recommend giving it a try! I didn't really recognize any harsh smell from it.1
I have not seen a difference with this product. The exfoliator/crystals do not seam to do anything with my skin. I have used better exfoliators in the past.1
I really didn't like this product, my skin is really sensitive and I normally don't have break outs. Well since I tried this my face has broken out all over. I am really not happy about this product.1
This made me break out in large red itchy hives and had a burning sensation.1
So it turns out I'm allergic to this product, used it before I went to bed and woke up with red blotches all over my face that stayed the entire day. I loved the texture of the product though, but isn't recommended for sensitive skin which i have.1
I was really excited to try this product but it is so painful to use! I've given it 2 chances and the results weren't anywhere near being close to worth it. Throw it straight in the garbage!1
The fine texture of this scrub definitely seemed to remove a layer of dead skin. However, after my face felt wounded not refreshed. I ended up using it as a foot scrub.1
