Dry lips and sour breath rank pretty high on our no no list. C.O. Bigelow's Mentha Lip Shine not only prevents and relieves dryness, but it sweetens breath, thanks to an infusion of natural peppermint oil. Throw in the shine factor and you’ve got our new best friend.
I don't like the scent or the way the peppermint burns the lips when its applied. I would much rather have a fruity scent to my chap stick/lip shine. It just moisturizes the lips decently, not worth the money.1
The overall smell was too intense for me. And instead of it being glossy, I felt like it was a bit more sticky than anything. I wasn't very pleased with this at all.2
This lip gloss is super shiny and smells/tastes really nice, but is extremely sticky. I would not recommend for everyday use.2
I've used this before and it's an okay product, but it's not the best of its type. I wouldn't recommend this to friends because there are other products I've found that I love because they're great multitaskers - great color, shine, and moisturizer in one product. This gives good shine, but isn't very moisturizing.2
I love the menthol in the lip gloss but it's extremly sticky for at least 15 minutes. My husband won't kiss me if I am wearing it.3
I find this lip gloss to be very, very sticky. And no matter what, the tube winds up sticky somehow (I don't know if it leaks around the cap or what...)... but it smells divine and is very moisturizing. So - not my favorite lip gloss, but I'm not throwing it out or anything, either!!3
Love this lip shine! It's very minty & refreshing. My lips are very dry during winter and this product does a great job mouisturizing them. Only thing I did not like is the fact that when it came in the mail, the product looked dirty.3
This lip shine was just okay. The mint smelled nice but I did not find it to by anything special. It did not really relieve dryness of add moisture. I'll pass.3
I like the mint scent of this product. It says that it is supposed to freshen your breath, but I'm not sure if it's necessarily strong enough for that. However, in terms of lip treatment, I don't think it's the best since for just help with chapped lips I prefer something matte (this is shiny like lipgloss so it is noticeable when I go outside the lip line).3
I did enjoy the mentha lip shine but honestly I found it too shiny and the peppermint was a bit painful on chapped lips! If you're looking for a good lip gloss to wear out without color then this is the one!3
