Individually, each of these stila shadows packs plenty of pigment. But together, they’re sure to become a staple of your makeup collection. With 10 gorgeous matte shadows in earthy hues—plus the bestselling Smudgestick liner in Halfmoon—this palette will inspire endless beauty looks. A $118 value!
My eye shape/hooded lids don't work well with shimmer or sparkle, and it's hard to find pallets that are only matte, or at least good ones. These are wearable colors that can be layered for desired intensity, with good pigment, minimal, if any, fallout, and long wearing when applied with primer. I make a lot of beauty purchases throughout any given year, and this is by far one of my favorites I've made
5I love these palettes from Stila, and I own almost every one. This one is tied for my top two, depending on my mood. The colors included are soft, matte neutrals, and they are just gorgeous.
The best thing about this palette is the included look book, which gives you several easy-to-follow instructions on how to use these colors. You can follow them to the letter, or even substitute other colors for your own unique look. Try them--you won't be sorry!
These shadows go on so smoothly--wet or dry--and can easily be used as eyeliners, too. I didn't think I'd wear the orange-y terra cotta shade, but I love it, too, especially after following the instructions included.
My least favorite part of the set is the included automatic liner. It tugs on my eyelid and doesn't go on as smoothly as I'd like. (I like super soft, blendy kohl pencils.) If you apply a little shadow over the top, it's workable.
But, I still give this set my top rating for its versatility.
