It’s a well-documented fact that nothing brightens up your complexion like a bit of blush. While exercise or an embarrassing joke is a sure-fire way to give your cheeks rosy flush, we’d rather rely on Benefit’s versatile powders. Each of these gorgeous shades can be used for sculpting and contouring your features or adding a subtle tint to cheeks. The square compacts come with a built-in mirror, plus a soft mini-brush made from natural bristles. All four silky shades blend easily and work on all skin tones.
I love the packaging, fragrance, and powdery softness that Benefit has created. I have used the Coralista which is a great color with pink and orange sherbet hues.
I was really excited about this product but it was a real disappointment. It barely showed up on my face.2
The Coralista is a great color without be too much color for the cheeks. The little box that it comes in is adorable.5
I'm NW20, and this is perfect to sweep on my cheekbones for a highlighter and a dash of color, or even as a blush on days I'm going for a more natural look. It's just enough to catch the light and add shine but without looking sparkly or overdone. This is a great product, and it lasts forever, I have been using the same box for almost 2 years and I use it frequently. I don't think it would work well for those who have a darker or tan complexion, but for light or fair complexion, it's stellar!5
1. It's in an adorable little box.
2. It smells incredible.
3. It's the perfect subtle glow.
4. The brush is a great shape for getting the product on your cheeks.
5. I swear this blush makes your skin look smooth and silky too. I always get compliments that my skin looks great when I use this blush!
I own four of these, and I love them all. I have Bella Bamba, Coralista, Sugarbomb, & Dandelion, and I purchased them in that order. Bella Bamba is definitely my favorite. It's a super bright girly pink (not overwhelming, but it easy to over do it with this one!) It's very flattering with my blue eyes and fair skin. Coralista is nice, it's a warmer apricot shade with, in my opinion, the most shimmer. It goes well with a tan. Sugarbomb has four different shades which you swirl together. For some reason, I find this one to be more powdery than the others and although I like it, I don't wear it too often, as it tends to cling to dryness on my face.
And lastly, Dandelion, my reason for writing this review. I bought this one last because after all the pink from Bella Bamba on my cheeks everyday, I felt like I needed something more sheer. I didn't want to go without blush, but didn't want anything to stand out on my cheeks. It's perfect for that! I see alot of complaints about it not showing up, and that's just not true. It does a nice job of making my cheeks pop, without obvious color on them besides a hint of pink. I wear this as my everyday blush and will certainly be the one I use up first, and will buy it again and again. It's a must have ( just after you own another stand out shade!)
This was one of the first Benefit products I bought almost twenty years ago. I've been using it ever since. It creates just the right touch of glimmer without my skin looking too shiny.5
The powder is light and complimentary for my skin tone, it's my new go-to.
The only issue I have is that I bought this to earn the extra points with purchase, but of course no extra points has been added (in all promotions I have used). It's pretty frustrating.
i have this in 'dandelion'. the color is so subtle it is practically non existent. so this can't be worn as a blush (unless you're in grade school or a nun). it is much better for it's intended purpose, to fake a healthy glow. it has a beautiful warm golden shimmer (versus cool silver). it's gorgeous in the sun. i love it.5
I love Benefit products, and thought I would try this blush since it came highly reviewed. I was so disappointed because I could barely even see this blush no matter how many swipes across my cheeks. Instead it gave me this washed out, almost shiney look with hardly any color at all. I ended up using my regular blush over it, only to achieve a clown look. The packaging is nice, the brush is fantastic, and the bonus of a mirror was also a plus; however, if you want to see any color at all, this is not the product for you.2
