Now that you're grown up, sugary cereal is a no-no. Sugary face cleanser, on the other hand, gets a resounding yes. Infused with lemongrass and chamomile, this cleanser gets rid of dirt and oil while gently exfoliating layers of skin with nonabrasive sugar. (The alpha hydroxy acids in raw sugar gently buff away dead layers and excess oils without stripping your skin of its natural moisture.) You'll immediately notice how refreshed your skin feels, not to mention how good the clean, subtle scent of zesty lemon smells. Unlike Lucky Charms, this sweet stuff is good for you.
This is a great smelling skin polisher. My skin felt clean without being dried out and was noticeably brighter. I just received a full size as a gift and will be purchasing it when it 's finished.4
I absolutely looooved this product! The gritty sugar left my face feeling so clean and smooth. Some cleansers leave my face feeling like I need to clean it again. This one, I actually felt like dirt was literally being lifted off my face. I can't get down with the price though, but I loved the sample while I had it.4
I tend to have oilier skin that clogs easily, so I'm always on the lookout for a good exfoliating wash. Was excited to try this out- as some other reviewers mentioned, the sample was bone-dry when I got it. However, after adding a little warm water, I was able to use without issue.
The scent is fresh citrus- great for helping you wake up in the mornings! It isn't too harsh an exfoliator, but I did find that if I rubbed between my fingers before putting on my face I wouldn't get the effect I wanted (turned into all foam).
Used more than suggested to get a good, deep clean (more like quarter sized). My skin felt clean and radiant afterwards, and was super smooth. Made applying BB cream a breeze...
May think about purchasing in the future- but the price is a little high for how much I had to use/how quickly I'd likely go through it.
I like trying new things that help me stay clean. This works well to take off the thing that regular face wash does not but it feels like it leaves a film, so you end up washing your face twice to just get the film off.4
Originally I tried this for my face but I was taken aback by the strong smell and large rough crystals. I decided to use it on my elbows, knees and body instead and I enjoy it much more. It does leave your skin very soft. The crystals desolve quickly, which i guess you are supposed to do by rubbing it in your hands before putting it on your face, but then it just seems like a waste. Much nicer as a body scrub imho.4
I loved the schtick of this cleanser. It starts off as scrubby microbeads, but they melt or dissolve as you rub them into your skin and your left with a pleasantly foamy cleanser. Even though the label called it an "exfoliate foaming cleanser", I was not expecting the two forms it took. It left my face feeling a little tight, but in a nice way. My skin feels a little dry, but soft.
The only downside for me: I have to disagree with everyone about the scent. I typically love anything lemony, but this reminded me of those lemonhead candies they used to sell at 7Eleven when I was little kid. It was a little sicky sweet for me.
Love the way it smells the texture , and the way it leaves my skin,, but too small for the price4
This scrub/cleanser smells so good you almost want to eat it! It foams nicely so you don't need to use a lot of it to cleanse your face.4
This face wash has a really great citrus scent! It foams so nicely, I almost forgot it was an exfoliating scrub! The sample size is pretty small, that's probably the only real negative about it. Wish I was a little larger to fully be able to test out product.4
Smelled a bit reminiscent of Tang to me. The lemongrass was nonexistent smell-wise for me. If you tend to sometimes get cleansers in your mouth this is actually pleasant, tastes like sugar. My only wish was that it would last a bit longer, the crystals dissolved before I could finish my face.4
