Now that you're grown up, sugary cereal is a no-no. Sugary face cleanser, on the other hand, gets a resounding yes. Infused with lemongrass and chamomile, this cleanser gets rid of dirt and oil while gently exfoliating layers of skin with nonabrasive sugar. (The alpha hydroxy acids in raw sugar gently buff away dead layers and excess oils without stripping your skin of its natural moisture.) You'll immediately notice how refreshed your skin feels, not to mention how good the clean, subtle scent of zesty lemon smells. Unlike Lucky Charms, this sweet stuff is good for you.
It smells so lemony fresh. Feels like a wake up call to my face. Sloughs away rough skin, while not over drying.5
The Suki Exfoliating Cleanser that I received in my monthly Birchbox was an item I could defintely use and was worthwhile. Mt face felt so clean and smooth after just one use. I can't wait to get more of it.5
I really liked this face scrub mostly because it was like pure lemon and I love anything lemon! It was very refreshing and smelled sooo amazing! I would definitely recommend this product especially to people with sensitive skin. It seems very mild to me!4
I got 2 uses out of it. It was perfect!! I loved how smooth my skin was after I used it. It smelled great!4
Good quality-good on the skin. If I didn't have one. Maybe would purchase.4
I have already received this in my box before so I was highly disappointed getting it again.3
I love this product!! It is a great exfoliator. It leaves my skins feeling really refreshed and clean. The smell is wonderful as well. I use this product a few times a week and it makes my skin so radiant and clear. Would definitely recommend this scrub for anyone!5
I haven't used an exfoliating cleanser in a while, and I had been thinking of trying a new one, so I was glad to receive this in my Birchbox. I've been using it every few days for a couple of weeks now, and I do like it. I've found that I don't need a huge amount, just one or two fingertip sized scoops of the lemon-y smelling product. I rub it around between my hands, and then gently cleanse my face with it, concentrating on my little patches of dry skin. As you rub the product between your hands and then on your face, it begins to foam. Rubbing also causes the little exfoliating beads to shrink and eventually disappear, which I kind of like, as this makes it easy to rinse. The product rinses very clean and doesn't seem to leave any residue on my face. I'm left with a clean, fresh feeling face.
I would purchase this if it wasn't so expensive, but you do get 4 ounces for about $33, and it seems like you don't really need a lot of this for it to exfoliate and cleanse your skin, so the 4 ounce size might last a while. Honestly, I haven't tried very many exfoliating cleansers, so I can't compare the effectiveness or the price of this product to anything else, but I do like it, so if the price isn't a big deal for you, I say go for it.
Overall, I liked this sample, but I do not think that I liked it enough to buy a full size product for myself. It had an interesting texture and I didn't get any adverse reaction to the product, but it also was not something that I would necessarily write home about either.4
The exfoliator was a lithe rough and hurt when applied. Also, the smell was a bit strong.3
