Now that you're grown up, sugary cereal is a no-no. Sugary face cleanser, on the other hand, gets a resounding yes. Infused with lemongrass and chamomile, this cleanser gets rid of dirt and oil while gently exfoliating layers of skin with nonabrasive sugar. (The alpha hydroxy acids in raw sugar gently buff away dead layers and excess oils without stripping your skin of its natural moisture.) You'll immediately notice how refreshed your skin feels, not to mention how good the clean, subtle scent of zesty lemon smells. Unlike Lucky Charms, this sweet stuff is good for you.
This product had a great smell and I could really feel the exfoliating beads working well. Very gritting texture.4
Normally I don't love citrus smells, but the smell of this product is heavenly! More importantly, the granules are just right - not too tough on my skin but I definitely feel like the dead skin is sloughing off.5
Smells like Skittles (which is not attractive to me) and was overly abrasive. I have sensitive skin, but I can't imagine how even the most durable of skin could withstand something so pumice-like. I would more likely use this on my feet.2
I really loved the way this product started out - gentle lather with a gentle, sugary, great-smelling exfoliator..then I washed it off, and my skin felt like there was a waxy texture to it. Very strange.4
In my opinion, I feel that this product was ineffective. It did not create a good texture.. it felt sugary.2
Enjoyed the smell, gentle enough on my face! It was pleasant to use and my face felt exfoliated afterwards.3
I hated the smell....too citrus for my taste. It did leave my skin soft and not dry!3
Leaves face feeling soft. Not too harsh and mild enough to use daily.5
Smells like lemons. Comes in the form of tiny beads and as it gets wet it foams and the beads dissolve. Interesting concept3
I received a sample of this and like other reviewers was thrown off by the scent and how hard it is in the little tub. I couldn't bring myself to try it on my face, mostly because of the scent, but also because it is a physical exfoliater. I tried it on my hands and feet and I see why people like it and would use it on their face, but it's not for me.1
