Now that you're grown up, sugary cereal is a no-no. Sugary face cleanser, on the other hand, gets a resounding yes. Infused with lemongrass and chamomile, this cleanser gets rid of dirt and oil while gently exfoliating layers of skin with nonabrasive sugar. (The alpha hydroxy acids in raw sugar gently buff away dead layers and excess oils without stripping your skin of its natural moisture.) You'll immediately notice how refreshed your skin feels, not to mention how good the clean, subtle scent of zesty lemon smells. Unlike Lucky Charms, this sweet stuff is good for you.
This product smells good and cleanses your face getting all the dirt and dead skin off.3
I have really sensitive skin, so this is not something I'd use more than once a week or so, but it was gentle enough that I had no reaction to it. It smells clean, it goes on easily, comes off easily, and my skin felt AMAZING when I was done. Really good stuff--I'm looking forward to buying it!5
My skin felt soft and refreshed afterwards without any drying. I would recommend4
This product smells absolutely wonderful, pretty much exactly like a lemon drop! I love that this exfoliator foams and its's also nice that the sugar dissolves because you really can't over-exfoliate with this. You get a good scrub in and then it melts away into a nice foaming face wash. I have adult acne-prone skin and this did not bother it. I definitely plan on buying it for myself and as christmas gifts.5
This scrub is great! It left my skin feeling so refreshed. I will probably add this to my collection once my normal scrub runs out.4
I received a sample of this in my October box. In the container, it looks like lots of beads packed together. It feels a little dry - definitely need to add water to use, but you're not paying for water volume. I like that it uses sugar crystals for exfoliation - not as jagged as apricot pits or salt and much more environmentally friendly than plastic microbeads. The scent is definitely lemony - somewhere between a lemonhead and lemon-scented household cleaning products.4
I've never been a fan of sugar scrubs. They seem great in theory, but I always feel like I need to wash my face again to get off the sticky residue. This one was no different than others I've tried in that regard, but it did smell WONDERFUL. I even got a little in the corner of my mouth by accident, and it was tasty, too . ;)3
I liked the exfoliating effect, but the scent was a little too sweet and strong for me.4
Tis the season for dry skin! At least for me. I loved loved loved this product. It smelled citrusy and it made my skin feel so soft and helped with the dry skin patches. Thumbs up!5
The smell of this exfoliator was really nice. The issue I had was that the sample I received was hard, when I tried to use it I could barely get any out. Don't know if this is the norm, or if my sample was dried out.3
