Now that you're grown up, sugary cereal is a no-no. Sugary face cleanser, on the other hand, gets a resounding yes. Infused with lemongrass and chamomile, this cleanser gets rid of dirt and oil while gently exfoliating layers of skin with nonabrasive sugar. (The alpha hydroxy acids in raw sugar gently buff away dead layers and excess oils without stripping your skin of its natural moisture.) You'll immediately notice how refreshed your skin feels, not to mention how good the clean, subtle scent of zesty lemon smells. Unlike Lucky Charms, this sweet stuff is good for you.
Oh, my goodness! I can't say enough about this cleanser. Facial products are my favorite Birchbox finds and I squealed when I saw the cute little pot of this glorious product, and then the smell! It was like walking into a lemon orchard while eating an orange in the sunshine next to a field of sweetgrass. I was concerned that I would only get one use of it due to the diminutive size, but I used it three times and in different spots; face, legs, and upper arms, and it is my new favorite. I can't wait for payday so that I can order the full size. My skin felt clean and fresh, the dry skin was almost completely gone, and the smell was gratefully with me all day. I. Love. This.5
This exfoliator was too rough for my sensitive skin4
I have heard a lot of good things about Suki products in the past and have tried a few. I do like this cleanser because I feel like the scrubbiness is exfoliating the dead skin cells, it smells nice and natural, doesn't sting my eyes, and foams up which makes me feel like it's getting dirt and make up off. The bonus is that it tastes good too, if you get a little on your lips. I mention this because one of my other cleansers always seems to get in my mouth just from rinsing my face and it's doesn't taste so great. For those people who don't like very scrubby granules, mix with more water on your hands before you apply to your face as the sugar granules do dissolve as you go. The sugar being the "crystals" in this is another good point because you know they will dissolve instead of just get all over and make a mess like other scrubs do. Just make sure you rinse well because the sugar can get sticky if you drip some on the counter top!4
I loved the smell of this product! It was so refreshing and made my skin feel great! I thought the sample was a bit small and hard to use in the jar. Otherwise it was a great exfoliator that i would definitely consider buying the regular size of!4
The texture, smell and result are all just fabulous. I was delighted with the way my skin felt afterwards- smooth, moisturized and super clean.5
I was impressed by the results and the smell. It is great knowing this is all natural.5
This exfoliator smelled wonderful, but was so dry and hard to get out of the container that I don't care to use it.2
This is a gentle exfoliator. I love the way it lathers when you add water. It does a great job of cleansing.5
I like how this product starts out gritty and exfoliates, but then the exfoliation beads dissolve into a foamy face wash. I felt as if my face was clean after use. The lemony scent was a bit strong, but not unpleasant. I had a better foam when I used this product when my face was more wet in the shower than at the sink.4
This was a fun item, it works great and feels great! It has a great consistency, plus I really like the container.5
